Getting Tickets Early- Possible?

We have Free Dining Bounce Back booked (1 week) for next August 2016 at PORS. We need to purchase tickets as part of the deal/package. We are also planning on staying at BC for a week before our Free Dining stay. Can we access tickets early (while we are at BC?). I am hoping to get a magical deal for BC. Since they are bookings through two different people, can we still access tickets if we link them on MDE? I want to do it because it's cheaper buying an 8 day ticket with Free Dining than a 4 day ticket for each reservation. Just planning in advance. Thank you!

You can activate your tickets 10 days prior to a resort stay. The easiest way is by online check in, but you can also activate them early by visiting any Guest Services at either DTD or at the gate.

It used to be 3 days but is now 10 days according to recent reports.
