Has anyone gotten thru ROFR faster than they expected or faster than the 30 days we have been told to expect?

Yes. But it is fairly rare. The ROFR process is used by DVC not only to actually take back contracts, but also to slow down the resale process and artificially create an advantage on timeline for direct purchase.

Also, keeping a resale buyer hanging the full four weeks does give DVC some additional time to grab your contract at the last minute, if a direct waitlist comes in that's fillable at those points and use year. When it comes to financial matters regarding DVC, the mouse always wins.

Back in March, it was taking between 22-28 days to get through ROFR.

I am at day 24 and no word yet. It appears that Disney is taking almost the full 30 days right now. I am not expecting to hear anything until next week.

They take close to 30 days but seem to wave ROFR on Tuesdays if I remember correctly, so you might be less than 30 or a little over.

We found out we passed yesterday, day 29. So, I would expect to wait pretty close to the full 30 days.

We just got our ROFR back last week...it was 4 weeks to the day so 28 days.

Day # 2 for us :rolleyes1

After reading the posts I guess we should sit back and relax! :worried:

Glad to read some folks have heard back!

I had a nightmare/dream that Disney took it back. :( I hope it is not an omen.
