Getting stuck on a ride

Last month myself and my kids, DD8, DD7 and DS5 went alone, when we arrived at MK we rushed over to Splash Mtn, and the CM said it was closed not sure for how long. So we got a Fast Pass and went to BTM and we got stuck going up the cave with the falling rocks it was so funny. DS didn't think so. anyhow once we got off we went back to Splash Mtn and it was up and running and we got on using our fast pass and YEP! we got stuck right where the frogs were shooting water over your head. I thought it was hilarious, this time DD8 didn't think so. Go over to Winnie the Pooh and get stuck in front of the jumping Tigger, it was just not our day. I am a laughing mom and thought it was the funny overall. Well finally to end our day, we are waiting in line for Space Mtn for the 8th time DD8 and DS favorite ride and the lights came on. Now that was pretty dirty and is no longer DS favorite ride cause with the lights on it doesn't look as cool as EE. Oh and Cinderellabration got cancelled that morning due to sprinkles.

Got stuck on two rides three weeks ago. First one was Buzz - which allowed my daughter and myself to get maximum possible points

The second was Rock n roller coaster. We went 3-2-1 and crawled along the track, getting stuck just before the coaster hit the first loop. It was cool to see the inside with the lights on.

Ellen's Energy Adventure

We were really just beginning to move through the Dinosaur "diorama". We were rounding the corner when everything started going really slowly. Then, everything stop. It was quiet for a moment then a very nice lady said, over the loud speaker, "It looks like Ellen's Energy Adventure has just run out of energy." All the lights came on and they tried for maybe 10 minutes to get it going again. Finally, they led us out row by row back through the beginning of the dinosaurs and out a side entrance.

It was actually pretty fun, but you wouldn't believe the people who got really mad.

We, too, have been stuck on numerous rides (Buzz Lightyear, SE, PotC, HM...), but usually for only 10-15 minutes, tops.

Last September, DH, DS (4), DD (2) and I were stuck on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority for well over half an hour. We were inside Space Mountain, right where the cars go up the first hill. It was cool for awhile, watching the cars go up and hearing the riders scream and laugh. Finally we saw a flashlight headed our way and a CM said they would be back for us in about 10 minutes. Since they couldn't (or wouldn't) turn on the lights in SM, we had to climb out in the dark!

It was on our last day, right before we were leaving, so we used our special FastPass for one more ride on Buzz.

Thank goodness the kids took it all in stride! It could've been a nightmare if we were stuck out in the hot sun all that time!
