If that was November 2002 I was in the same car with you. It was horrible and a poor young baby was screaming, our worst time stuck ever and they did not take us off..... :confused3

We also got stuck inside Test Track for over half an hour, never took us off. It was right before the heat and cold sequence and some poor people were stuck in the heat and cold, which a CM came and turned off as it kept coming on and off on them.. :sad2:

I got stuck on Test Track a few years ago. We were doing the "high speed test" on the part that goes outside the building . . . ON AN EMBANKMENT. I was using all my arm muscle power to try not to squash the person on my left since gravity was pushing me into him.

OMG! Us, too! The funniest part was once we began moving again (at a snail's pace), the ride sounded like we were screaming around the corner and towards the wall. Then, while we were disembarking, someone else in our car grumbled about how they should let us ride again without waiting in line since our ride was ruined--and they did. I love Disney.

Last trip we got stuck on EE. It was my first time and at first I thought it was part of the ride. I'm sure glad I spent my $17 on those blue water spraying fans before I got on though because after 15 minutes in the sun I sure was hot! The CM's came and we had to climb out, which was really hard since we were going uphill at the time. Other than that we've only been stopped on the usual SE and HM. I always seem to be the next person in line whenever TT stops running though...

It happened to us in the cold room on TT. It was only for a few minutes but it was a chilly few minutes.

A few summers ago my husband and I went on the safari ride at AK during a rainstorm because we thought all the animals would be more playful out in the rain. We were the only people on the truck and by the time we go out to the savannah it had turned into a monsoon. There was thunder and lightening and high winds and the rain was just pelting us in the face. The canvas roof on the truck also did nothing to block the rain from just pouring down on us. The animals, being smarter than us, had all run for cover so we didn't see any! Eventually it was coming down so hard that the driver couldn't see so we had to just stop and wait it out. It was actually scary because of all the lightening and we're sitting out in the middle of the flat savannah. By the time it was over we were soaked to the bone! The other cast members gave us a round of applause for surviving when we finally made it back. It was quite an experience!!

During our last trip in 2005 DS who was age 4 at the time decided he was ready for Dinosaur in AK. 2 minutes into the ride it breaks down, and we're stuck in one spot pitching back and forth in total darkness, :scared1: with the sounds of screaming and roaring dinosaurs going off continually all around us. It was quite unnerving and overwhelmingly disorienting. Sat there for probably 2 minutes, but felt MUCH longer than that. I thought for sure the poor kid was going to have a total meltdown. Felt so sorry for him. I just had him put his head down and talked him through it. He still hates that ride with a passion.

We were stuck on Test Track for 20 minutes. We were right before the part where you speed up and go through the doors to the outside. While stuck, we kept on hearing an announcement that said to stay seated and that the ride could start momentarily without notice. That it did. LOL! It was fun to have time to take some good pictures inside TT.

Last year i was stuck on the lift uphill on the Kali ride for about 20 minutes.

Oh, I forgot. When we were at AK a few weeks ago we were stopped on the safari for over 20 minutes ON THE BRIDGE OVER THE WATER WITH THE ALLIGATORS!! It made the CM nervous enough he told one guy to hang on to his 2 yo boy. The boy kept standing and wiggling and the dad didn't seem to get it. It seems one of the giraffes was standing in the road up ahead and so all the trucks had to wait for someone to coax the guy off the road.

We got stuck on the Carousel of Progress during the second scene. The theater would not move, so we watched the scene over and over again. By the time a CM came to get us all out, the entire audience was repeating the scene word for word. My kids can still remember some of the lines. It was kinda funny. :wizard:

We got stuck in the heat room on Test track for about 5 minutes. Ride started then stop in the cold room. Well we were mostly in the cold room but just close enough to the heat that it caused cold water from above to drop perfectly down my DH back. This was when TT was pretty new and that room was set much cooler than it is now. Spent 15 minutes in the cold room. That'll teach him to make fun of me as i don't like the heat and didn't think it was funny that he was singing we're having a heatwave a tropical heatwave as i was melting. Someone must have been on my side that day as i love the cold and he can't stand it even worse he hate to have water dripped on him, it was dry on my side of the car. Well that's the last time we rode TT at least on that trip.

it makes me wonder what they would do for people if they couldnt get off the ride.
Some of these sound quite difficult to get off! Im not sure that less able bodied people would manage it!

Very interesting thread though!

I was stuck on HM right in the beginning just as you are entering that hallway b4 you actually go into the ride. We waited like 20 min. at the most.

last year on haunted mansion just before the exit to the ride, my brother and dad were on the car infront of us and were told by CM's to just walk off but being one car behind them we couldnt and were the last people to be let off the ride. it was also the last ride we were going on before the park closed which made it extra creepy
