Just wondering if this is more common than I think. Anyone ever get sick during their trip, enough for it to ruin their vacation?
If so, did you do anything different on your next visit to try and prevent it? (taking Airborne, etc.)
We flew down last Wednesday, I got in 3 good days (Wed, Thurs, Fri) before I started feeling really sick, sore throat, coughing, fever, chills. I was sick enough to be down and out for the rest of our vacation, mostly couchbound. It really bums me out that I never even made it to MK.
We even extended our flight 1 day because I felt too sick to fly back home. When we went in April, DH got really sick too with the same type thing.
I know it probably can't be prevented, you get exposed to germs on closed airplanes, at the parks, the hotels, etc. Just wondering if anyone has had this happen enough that they now have things they do to "prep" for their trip?
