Getting ready to do ADRS...some ??'s

OK I am feeling nervous since I have not had to do ADR's for our last few trips and I know things have changed.

We are staying 11-21 to 11-26, so during free dining and Thanksgiving so I am thinking things might be tough if we don't do it first day.

#1. So I have calculated that on 8/23 I will be able to book all of my reservations for our 5 night stay. Is this correct? We are staying at BLT on points but I understand I can still get the 90 +10 days. So day 90 is 8/23 and then I can book for the additional 5 days after that. Correct?


#2. Can I book online for all restaurants? We are on dining plan and plan on LeCellier, Mama Melrose (no fantasmic), Crystal Palace, 1900 Park fare and toying with skipping one of these and doing the Hoop Dee Doo revue for two credits. Can I book all of these online? Is calling still easier?

#3 Can I book for our party of 7 through my one room reservation? I booked both reservations for all of us through Member Services (DVC) so they are linked. Can I just put in party of 7 after I log into my reservation(which is only a room for 4)?

#4 What time can I start going online?

Anything to watch out for? Any glitches? Oh and this a Sunday, so I can still book on Sundays online right?

1. yes 8/23 looks right

2. All of those can be booked online

3. I don't know

4. The online system rolls over at 6:00 AM Eastern time (Phones at 7:00 AM Eastern time). They are available seven days a week.

On thing to remember is that the system looks at time ranges. If you are flexible and the system doesn't show an opening use the modify button to adjust your time

yes to #3...you can book a party of 7 even though your room is just 4. We booked several parties of 4 when our room was just for 2 people.

One more question. Does having the dining plan affect anything as far as booking, say Hoop Dee Do? I think that the dining plan takes two credits for HDDR but I am wondering about having to put a credit card down for it. I guess I 'll just have to figure it out as I go. I am going to try for LeCellier first!
