We needed to add a stabilizer bar because it sways too much behind our Kia, but that was a quick easy install. My husband is just putting the finishing touches on what we've dubbed the "poop pipe" because the sewer hose we bought doesn't fit in the bumper. So we bought 4" pvc pipe, capped one end, put a screw cap on the other end, and it will bungee to the back bumper. But my husband said he wanted it to match the bumper, so he had to paint it black, too - this from a man who has walked out of the house in unmatched socks! :rotfl:

We leave Monday for our Hershey Park trip - staying 3 nights. Will be fun - we haven't been in about 8 years and they have lots of new stuff.

Have a great trip :woohoo:

Have fun.
I LOVE the smell of chocolate in the air.
It is supposed to be very humid this entire week, so eat lots of chocolate and drink lots of water.

Have fun! I'd love to hear about Hershey when you get back. We're planning to go there next summer or early fall, and it will be our first time there. LOL about the poop pipe! We had to make one for our old hybrid, and we did it the same way you did. We mounted ours underneath though, so no need to paint to match!

Carry a note pad so you can write things down that you need to add to or subtract from your camping stock, and other needs and wants.

Hershey is great we go every year for Halloween. Stay at their campground and take the shuttle. You can also purchase discounted tickets at the campground for the park.
The shuttle is very convenient and runs all day.
The kids have a great time trick/treating throughout the campground.
I usually have to bring at least 200 pieces of candy, and the activities are great as well.
Have fun!

Are u staying at High Meadows? If so stay by the stream that is the farthest away from the hourly freight train

We will be on our madden trip with our new trailer too. We had the same issue with "poop pipe" come to find out we had one already installed just behind the front of the front of the trailer. This will be our first trip to ft wilderness starting next week.

Just a little tip that helps me out alot!
At the end of each season I totally remove everything out of my MH.
I just figure if any little critters decide to set up shop, the dmage will be minimal.
Anyhow, once I figure out the things that I need in the MH, I create a list on the computer.
Then each year before the maiden voyage I print out the list.
TA DA...give my memory a break.

I do the same thing. Makes packing quick and easy, and avoids forgetting necessary items.

I also have separate packing lists for traveling by air and road trips without the RV. :thumbsup2

I have to say the things I've learned here have served us well today. We got here early and did 5 coasters with no waiting before lunch. Then went back to the campground for lunch and a swim. Tomorrow we plan to conquer the water park early.
