Hi. I was originally going to have my future DH close his eyes and zip me up and then go down to meet w/ the planner and family but then i thought i could have my sister come up once she is delivered in the limo from her resort. Only problem is that she's always late for everything and i CANT be late for my wedding so should i have her plan on coming to my room when she gets in or just have my future DH try to zip and clasp the bow in the back w/ his eyes closed?

I really CANT decide, any suggestions? I have not told her yet.

I'm also worrying about her being ready in time for the limo pickup, should i tell her it is sooner than it really is?

She really is always late for everything, dr apts, college classes, her work, anything.
Thanks for your advice

Tell her she has to be there like 30 minutes sooner! Would that work?? If not - is your mom or someone else going to be there?

i would do the idea of telling her an earlier time. I have this problem with my partner for EVERY occasion and I tell him 30 minutes before the actual time and I find that most of the time it works, i'm even going to do that on the morning of our wedding! pmsl

I vote for telling her an earlier time too!! Or ask your dad's girlfriend to help as a "backup". Personally, I'd grab someone from the hallway before I'd let my DF help :cool1: but I'm superstitious that way! ;) I'm spending my night-before at a different resort, so we don't have any chance of running into each other before our moment.

I agree with everybody else. She should be there with you anyway to help you get ready :)

Are you having anyone come to your room for hair and makeup? If so I am sure they would be willing to help. Just a thought.

Can she spend the night in your room? My MOH is staying with me the night before so that she can get ready with me since she is staying off property at her mother's time share.

Yeah, come to think of it, I didn't have anyone else in the room besides my makeup artist. She offered to help me get into my dress, but it had a zipper so I could do it all by myself. :cutie: I'll bet your cosmetologist could help!

That is even better..have her spend the night with you!!
