Getting Orlando's Amtrak station to MCO

I live in Sebring about 75 miles south of Orlando. My ex is giving DD18 one of his car and He needs to fly out of MCO. He's leaving here on a day that I work (1:30pm-10:30pm). To and from airport might take up to 4 hours round trip. Not really looking forward to that and then going to work. He can take the train from here to Orlando and them grab cab or shuttle to MCO. Just wondering if there would be shuttle or if a cab how much it might cost. Anyone know? TIA

Is there a bus to the airport from there. From some of the threads I read it is a bit costly from Orlando to MCO. Many recommend a town car service from MCO to Disney if not using ME.
Is taking the train the entire trip an option?

How about staying at a hotel near the airport. YOu could drop him off the night before. I know there is a Country Inn and Suites close to the airport that has shuttle service.
