Getting my new PC today

Just thought I would let you all know...I finally bit the bullet and ordered a pc from Dell on Monday and its coming today.
This one was being very tempermental and not letting us on at all the past week...
Hopefully will be easy to install..and will be back online in no time

Have fun, Shell. We've got a houseful of Dells. We bought a new flat screen last summer and younger dd has the old one (also a Dell, although she doesn't use the screen - she's got a flat screen TV and runs it through that). Dh and I both have Dell Latitude laptops for work and apparently I'm getting a new one soon (I've only had this one a year!). We bought elder dd a Dell laptop (with Centrino which is fantastic) when she started at Uni because we get an 'Employee Purchase Scheme' discount.

We've just signed up for "Computers at Home" which is a government backed scheme to encourage people to own PCs. It's basically a hire purchase arrangement, but the payments are deducted from your salary before tax. We want a laptop with wireless capability, but we have to purchase from PC World, so this one won't be a Dell.

You've got a busy day ahead of you - I still haven't got around to transferring everything from my old PC, let alone re-populating all my Favorites. Needless to say, the DIS was the first url to make it!
