Getting married at Disney

My girlfriend and I have set our hearts on getting married at disney in 2016 and as we're over there next month Id love to have a look at some venues. Could anyone please help me with any info or advice please. Itd be greatly appreciated

Between the Boardwalk and Epoct, there is a venuee that overlooks the waterway and has The Beachclub in the background. We were there in March and it looked beautiful.

Congratulations.
We got married at the wedding pavillion in 2009.
You can go in their for a look around in the daytime i belive still aslong as no wedding on at that time.
Venue is beautiful.
I would possibly ring the disney wedding line and see if they can arrange any viewings for you or a chat while you are their.

If you need any help in any question about the whole process etc i assume it hasnt changed too much since 09 feel free to ask.

I got married at the Wedding Pavilion in 2010 (4 yrs ago tomorrow actually ) and it was amazing! They really look after you.

There's a whole section on the boards dedicated to weddings at Disney and they were so helpful when I was in planning mode.

If you are heading over there, give Disney Weddings a call and see if you can meet with one of the coordinators to get more of an idea of cost and what's available.

Congratulations! We are also getting married at WDW in 2016 in the Wedding Pavilion. There's so many venues to choose from - your best research starting point is Disney Fairy Tale Weddings website where you can view all the options and look at pricing and packages. Happy planning!

Aww congrats on your decision to get wed!!!
We are tying the knot on Castaway Cay via the Dis Dream in 3 weeks time eeeek!! This is a nice alternative idea as you still get to honeymoon in the best place on earth afterwards?
Of course it's no good if your heart is set on a disneyland wedding but just an idea x

Another past Disney bride here. You can ring DFTW and ask to set up a site visit, but you'll need to tell them which locations you'd like to see.

Another Disney bride here.

We got married in March 2011 at the Wedding Pavillion and then had our reception at the Grand Floridian. Check out the official Disney Wedding website and also there's a Weddings board here on the DIS and various Facebook groups.

Yeah got to love a disney wedding. We got married at the wedding pavilion back in 2006 and had our reception at the living seas in epcot.
I know Disney wedding have gone up considerable since we got married so best place to check out is the wedding board that helped me greatly with planning.

There are also a ton of other places to get married like Cypress Grove, many hotels, beach, universal, Celebration etc.

I can't praise disney weddings enough! We had the most wonderful day! I'm very jealous! We got married at sea breeze point which is beautiful! It's around the boardwalk and means you can be outside but still undercover! Plus we get to back to it every time we go back and reminisce as it's just outside epcot! If you have any questions feel free to ask but be sure to go over to the wedding board too!

Congrats, Disney is a wonderful place to get married,And although we had a good wedding aspects of it was far from magical,This is severly in the minority though and the reason im telling you it at all is so i can give the advice to you and then your wedding will go much smoother!

We booked our wedding through first choice weddings,we got married at the wedding pavillion and it was beautiful! however because we booked through a travel company our wedding was forgotten about! Its not exactly disneys fault,But First choice forgot our wedding! They did not put the paper work in to disney even though we was paid in full!

My husband was deployed at the time and i knew very little about using the internet bk in 2006,it wasnt until a month before i started asking questions and i was told there was no wedding!

Alot of problems occured from this,and so i must give a warning to say BOOK THROUGH DISNEY not any sort of third party agent!.

i did enjoy my day,but it wasnt my dream wedding and Disney are working with us to renew our vows as our wedding was put on the back burner due to the mess up, which meant most of what we wanted didnt happen.

Again Disney wedding are amazing! Magical and i would book them again in a heartbeat,but ......only through them.
