We're flying into Disneyland a week from today. :yay: We're not renting a car. We drink water like crazy and I'd like to pick up a couple of cases of water and maybe some bagels and cream cheese and some snacks.

Has anyone used a grocery delivery service? Is so, which one did you use? Did it work out well? Did you have any problems getting it delivered to a hotel? Do you recall if they had a minimum order and what their fee was?

Or is there a close grocery store that I can maybe take a bus too, get a taxi too or possibly even walk to? Am not too picky about where, even somewhere like a CVS or small mom & pop store would probably be much cheaper than at least $1.00 per bottle of water. We're staying at the Red Lion Hotel on Harbor Blvd.

Thanks for any help you can give me!!!

Hi carebee21!

A number of our guests have ordered their groceries from Vons.com to be delivered to us, and that's seemed to work really well for them. :goodvibes

I hope this helps, and that you have a great time at the Parks! :wizard:

Thanks so much for the reply. I'll look into them. Do you happen to know, do they just deliver them to the front desk and the front desk holds them for the guest or does the guest actually have to be present?

And also, on a side note, we're actually staying at your hotel for the first time this coming December and we're really excited! :santa:

When they deliver for our guests, they deliver to our Front Desk and then we hold it until you arrive [if you haven't checked in yet], or bring it up to your room [if you have checked in]. We always keep items that need to be refrigerated in the fridge for you, too. :]

That's so exciting that you'll be staying with us for Christmas! We look forward to seeing you! Oh, and now you know you can get groceries delivered to us and how it works, too!

See you soon!
Lorealle

PS- On your upcoming trip, make sure you make time to see the Halloween Screams fireworks from in front of the castle and from in front of Small World! It's definitely worth it! :D
