Getting from universal to Disney

I have a conference and will be staying at a universal hotel. I need to get to pop century where my mom and I are going to be taking a mini trip. Any suggestions for getting from universal to Disney? I may be able to get a free shuttle from universal to the airport. Then I can take the magical express.

Given the distance, it'd be surprising if there were a free shuttle.

There are a few options.

1. Mears. Call the night before and they will tell you when they are doing pick-ups at your resort at US. It's $19 RT.

2. Cab. Probably run you about $30 each way.

3. You could probably get the Lynx bus but that will not take you to the resort. It's the cheapest but you would have to go to DTD and then take Disney bus to POP. (Someone will correct me if I'm wrong on this one).

4. You mentioned a free shuttle to MCO and then Magic Express. I assume you were thinking of going to the airport and then catching ME. If you are not on the reservation for POP, you will not be able to board the bus without the ticket.

Each of the Universal onsite hotels has a Hertz office.

You can drop the car off at the Hertz location near Disney Springs (DTD). They will shuttle you over and you can take a Disney bus to POP.

No luggage is allowed on the Mears shuttle bus. If you can't get to MCO via a shuttle, then I would just get a cab.
