Getting from the parks to DtD

Is there transportation from the parks to DtD? Or would you have to go from a park to the TTC or a resort and then take a bus to DtD?

I am pretty sure your answer is no, there is not transportaion from the parks to DTD. I have read on here about guests used to use DTD for "free" parking and then take a bus from there to the parks so Disney did away with it.

Someone else may have a better answer, but I noticed you have not gotten any replies yet so I thought I would share what I have heard!!

The answer is "No". Nor is there a bus from TTC to DTD. You must go to any WDW resort hotel and take a bus to DTD from there.

Oh, OK. Thanks for the info. We always rent a car and almost never use Disney transportation anymore, but DD is down there with a friend and she called today with her daily trip report (boy, can she talk! ) and had run into some problems getting from one place to another, and I was SURE you could go from DtD to the parks and vice versa. I will reluctantly admit that I don't know everything. (Or maybe I do now! )

If you wanted to go from the Magic Kingdom to DTD the best thing you could do is walk to the Contemporary and get the bus from there, or take the bus to Saratoga Springs and from there walk to DTD, since there are no buses at the TTC. From Epcot and Hollywood Studios you could take the boats or walk to any of the Epcot Resorts and get the bus from there or once again take the bus to SSR and from the Animal Kingdom I would say take the bus to the Animal Kingdom Lodge since it would be the closest Resort to the AK, or as I said before take the bus to SSR and walk the rest once you get there.

Yes, she (and I) understands all that.

She was leaving EPCOT and was going to have a little time to kill before an ADR at The Turf Club at Saratoga Springs, so I suggested she go to DtD first for a little while, and then walk/take the boat to Saratoga Springs. That's when she told me you can't do that anymore (go from a park to DtD). She didn't have time to go from EPCOT to Saratoga Springs, then to DtD, then back to Saratoga Springs for her ADR. I'm sure she was fine, whatever she decided to do. I just hadn't heard before that parks/DtD transportation didn't exist anymore.
