We will be staying at AS-S and have two breakfast reservations at 7:30 at Boma and Kona Cafe. I know if you have an early ADR in the parks you can use Disney transportation to get there, but will I be able to get to MK to take the monorail for Kona? And will we need to just use Uber/Lyft to get to Boma?

We are also planning to Uber to Universal for two days, but now I'm wondering if we have to arrange our own transportation for those breakfasts (which are also the days we are going to US) if maybe it wouldn't be better to just rent a car for those two days.

You CAN use Disney transport (buses start running at around 6:30). However, that is going to eat up a lot of time in both scenarios.

It would be much faster to use Uber or a taxi.

It just kind of depends on what price you put on your time, especially so early in the morning.

The monorails open late on some days. On early opening days, the Resort Monorail opens at 7am, so you'd just be able to make a 7:30 ADR.

On late opening days, shuttle buses are supposed to run in their place, but I think making a 7:30 ADR would be risky.

From Sports, I'd recommend Uber or Lyft, even on early opening days. The 1st bus should leave the resort between 6:30 & 7, but the earliest buses may pick up at all 3 AS resorts, with Sports being 1st.

Ask concierge at check in. I had a 7:10 adr at chef mickeys when we stayed at ASMu. We asked about a cab and they offered a voucher. They had a cab waiting @6:15 am. The 6:30 bus does run however I doubt you would make it as others will have dining at other resorts also on your bus. I have been told they are not doing this anymore, but I find a lot of times when you ask nice you may be sprinkled with a little magic.

When was that and where were you staying? They had a temporary program where they were offering taxi vouchers for resort-to-resort dining, but it was limited to just a few resorts and ended a while ago.

I would use Uber/Lyft/Taxi to get to your ADRs. It will save you about an hour of time as Disney recommends you allow 90 minutes using their transportation to make it to your ADRs.
