Getting from POP to AKL for dinner at Boma

What is the best way to get from POP to AKL for dinner at Boma? Our dinner reservation is at 5:35pm, and AK closes at 6:00pm that day - will buses still be running from POP to AK that close to closing time?

Also, what will be the best way to get back? AK will be closed by the time we're finished, so will need another option.

Take a cab. Seriously.

If you really don't want to spring for a taxi then here's how you get there and back using Disney transportation.

Getting to Boma: Hop on an AK, DHS or Epcot bus (whichever comes first). When you get to the park, hop on the AKL bus. I didn't include MK because that takes you quite a bit out of your way so it would add significant travel time to go there.

Getting back to Pop: Assuming DHS is still open (you'll want to check the hours), hop on an Epcot or DHS bus (whichever comes first). When you get to the park, hop on the Pop bus. I didn't include DTD because busses from DTD tend to run less often so you'll likely have a longer wait there than at a park.

We made the trip to Boma from POP last time and took the bus to AK (yes they will still be running) and then over to AKL.

When we left AKL we hopped a bus to Epcot, it was the first bus to arrive going anywhere and after 25 mins just wanted to get moving. Transfered at Epcot.

It was not in our budget to taxi to and from places, as that can really add up.

Just be aware AKL has one of the slowest bus times I have ever dealt with at WDW.

Thanks all. I figured it would be kind of a PITA to use the Disney buses, but I'm not comfortable having DD ride in a taxi without a carseat.
