getting from one resort to another

We have several dinners where we will go directly from our hotel. Please help me figure out the best way and time allocation

From POFQ to Kona (Poly) - I am thinking bus to MK then monorail to Poly
From POFQ to Yach Club Galley (Yacht Club) - bus to Epcot then walk to the hotel
From AKL to Cape May (Beach Club) - bus to Epcot and then walk

Does this sound right?

Yes. There is also a boat you can catch from MK to Poly

As long as you have a pass that can get you into Epcot (AP, park hopper, was at Epcot that day). It will be a bit of a walk from the front of the park, through IG and to resort.
Other options are to take a bus from POFQ to MGM and the boat from MGM to Beach/Yacht Club. Or bus to MK, AK or DTD and bus to BC/YC. None of these methods are fast, so you might want to consider a taxi.

It seems like it is almost the same distance walking form the front of Epcot to the YC or BC as it is walking from MGM. Maybe the walk from MGM just seems faster because there is less distractions.

Plus since you don't have to enter a park and go through the bag check MGM would seem faster for that reason too

That would work best. You could also take the boat from MK to the Polynesian, but it stops at the Grand Floridian first.

In order to do that, you would have to walk through Epcot. Won't work unless you have a ticket for Epcot or a park hopper. You could take a bus to MGM and either walk or take the boat to Yacht Club.

From AKL to Cape May (Beach Club) - bus to Epcot and then walk

Once again you are walking through Epcot. I would take a bus from AKL to AK and switch there to the Yacht/Beach bus. Assuming AK is open.

Also going from MGM gives you the option of the boat...

1) If time is money-rent a car or get a taxi
2) If you have time to burn- enjoy the view- but you might need 1+ hours

We really do not want to rent a car, nor do we need it except for those two difficult to get to (hotel to hotel) resturants. We are also coming directly from a cruise, and have transportation to the hotel. However, given the time (over an hour) we will definitely consider a cab.
