What's the best/most efficient/fastest way to get from MGM to DTD.

I want to leave MGM, which closes at 7:30, to go and eat dinner at DTD (Wolfgang Puck Cafe).

How do I get there?

Thanks!!

Buses from the parks only go to hotels. That being said you have two options from there. Either take a bus to one of the resorts closest to DTD, which I believe are SSR and OKW and then boat or bus over to DTD. OR, you can walk or boat over to BWV, Swan/Dolphin, or Y/BC and take the bus from there. Knowing what the lines are when the park closes (although at 7:30 it sounds like you are leaving before Fantasmic) I would opt for option two.

Cabs are only 14 bucks...they'll get you there faster than anything...

Your best bet is probably to take the boat to OKW, BW or SD and then take one of their buses, its free and also a nice ride :flower:

We did this once by taking the bus to Pop Century then transferring to DTD bus.

The good thing about this was, there is only one bus stop at Pop. And it seems like they do not go to other resorts.

If you go to Swan/Dolphin, you'll most likely stop at another resort - Beach/Yatch Club or Boardwalk.

If you go to POR/FQ you'll likely stop at their other bus stops before proceeding to DTD.

SSR - have not been there, but would assume you would have to walk from there to DTD.

Pop is Just another option

I agree with the above. You can hop on a bus to any resort. Pick the shortest line, then hop on the bus to DTD from that resort. If you take the POFQ and POR bus get off at POFQ, it's the first stop. You then could take the bus or boat to DTD.

Of course the fastest way would be by cab, if you want to spend the money.

Just want to point out that the Friendship boats from the Disney Studios stop at the Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk, and Beach/Yacht clubs before going on to Epcot. They don't go to OKW.
