getting from AoA to Gatorland?

My Dh and kids really want to go to Gatorland when we are in WDW this coming Oct. We are staying at AoA and are relying on Disney transportation all week.

Has anyone done this? What did you do? Did you rent at the Dolphin or use public transport, etc?

Rent a car. Gatorland is only a half day kind of place so you can then go shopping or whatever after.

You can rent from the Dolphin, Car Care Center, the Buena Vista Palace or the Wyndham.
