getting fit for your trip - a place to share & ramble

:sad2: playdoh

My DS got some stuck in the soles of his runners, red and green argh!

I almost took a twig to them to scrape it out, but decided they'll be left outside the door instead.

My DS manages to mix all the colors together until it looks like poo

I told my DSis I'd go to her practice run through of her step class training today, and completely forgot about it :guilty:

So now I've set my alarm to make sure I make it to the actual class tomorrow...

Then there will be no "official" exercise until I get back from holidays... and that first class back is going to kill me!! :lmao:

I did a step class once...I was the unco spanner down the back :rotfl2:

I have no rhythm

Even water aerobics made me look uncool :lmao:

In the last 2 days I've eaten ridiculous amounts of food (and junk) back on the wagon tomorrow night when I get home....

I love love love step classes

For that entire hour i think of nothing but what i should be doing with my feet..great stress reliever..like spin class...pump class i hate...too much thinking time.

back to the gym next week for me, i've put on 2 kg in the last 10 days..go figure:confused3 it cant be all the crap I'm eating:rotfl:

I feel exactly the same about pump class, but I also feel the same about spin class, I spend too much time thinking and the 1 hour takes *forever*

Step class and Body Combat are the best because you get started, you get hot sweaty and unco, and then you do some stretches and it's over! Not even enough times for regrets :lmao:

Nope any group movement and I'm down the back getting it all wrong and going the wrong way. I must look like I'm drowning as I get concerned looks from the instructors.

We did try a movement with weights class but they had to load me up so much to keep me from throwing the weights across the room. My friend liked it but the instructor said I'd be better off on the weights floor with the grunty men as that's what I was basically lifting. I agreed, it was too wussy.

I like spin but I was doing 2.5 hour sessions on top crank and not getting tired so I'd go for a half hour row afterwards and feel better. The gym wanted me to train for an instructors role but I didn't fancy being the plus sized spin instructor compared to the size 10's. :upsidedow

I'm going for a run shortly, what's the bet DH will have got the Play Doh out again so he can play on his new work iPad thingy while I'm out?

i have been really, really lax on the exercise lately. i've cut down on my food intake and greatly reduced my sugar/soda intake which has resulted in some inches lost, but every night when i get home from work i've been just relaxing on the couch :happytv: even though my wonderful new exercise bike is right next to the couch.

so i'm back on the exercise track tonight. no more wussing out. i need to get in better shape for my :beach: vacation :)

play doh...scurge of the universe and banned in my house...my car...my yard..or within 500m of anything i own:thumbsup2

Awwww, I kind of miss Play Doh. My youngest is 15 so we havent had any for many years :(

Me too :worried: I really need to get back to regular walking. Trouble is it's been sooo cold - I don't wanna go out here!

Andona

We're home after a 5 hour drive, I was going to head out tonight but after the drive (I drove) i'm just stuffed.
Tomorrow it starts again though, i've eaten so much rubbish over the last 3 days ::yes::

Whose with me?

sounds like a plan

all i want to do tonight is eat pasta......and that is bad:sad:

so damn cold, cant seem to get warm, and DH is already in bed asleep, so no one to give me the stink eye every time i go to the fridge:duck:

so walking up the shops tommorow for a hair cut....4 km round trip..better than nothing I guess::yes::

Got asked to do a flyer drop for work today to get rid of some extra flyers for this months promo. I get payed to go on a two hour power walk. NICE! No need for the gym tonight for me.

yep, will go for a walk this arvo I think....haircut can wait, my ears are cold enough as it is without getting a Number 3 to make matters worse:cool1:

66 sleeps for this old duck!:worship:

My two hour power walk ended up being a 47 minute power walk. Guess im just TOO quick! So I will most likely be gyming this evening. -.-

I had a really good weekend. Went for the run on Saturday and then did the DVD workout yesterday. Still binge-free and tomorrow is my three week anniversary of the new 'no binge' me :) I keep reading that it takes that long to break habits so I'm hoping it's true in this case.

I'm sore today so I'm going to give my muscles a chance to recover and back to workouts tomorrow. I played chasings with the boys yesterday as well as jumping on the trampoline - something that isn't easy after having three kids! I don't know what out of my weekend of activity made every muscle in my body ache, maybe it was a combination of all of the above. I can feel less of my fat jingling away now so it's incentive to keep at it.

I wish I had a countdown til my next Disney trip, but all I know is that it's next year sometime. Could feasibly be any time from 8 - 15 months away!

Oh, I forgot. I have one of our wedding 'save the date' magnets stuck up at my desk for inspiration. It was a pic of us in front of the castle at Disneyland just after we got engaged. I was 9 years younger, three pregnancies and 4 years of breastfeeding short of where I am now, but geez I'd love to have that body back! It wasn't perfect, but it was about 15kgs lighter than what it is now :)

so i walked to aldi tonight..2.3 km..mostly uphill...Dh met me after my shop...I do love shopping after 6.30 on a week night..no one around.

so tomorrow will try and walk again, get these old legs moving again:thumbsup2

so glad everyone is trying to stick to their diets/ exercise.....misery loves company:wave2:

I didn't walk, I tried to do my tax...

Got a rough estimate of DH's, my refund will pay his bill

:crazy2:

I have no words...
