Getting Engaged in MK! Need Help!!

Any suggestions? My brother is proposing to his girlfriend while we're in MK. Does anyone know if Disney can help in something like this? Perhaps have a character or two around? Mickey & Minnie would be great. He'll be buying a glass slipper from DTD and putting the ring in it and then pop the question in front of the castle. Does anyone have some stories to share if this happened to you or perhaps know of someone who proposed in MK? How was it done? Perhaps there is a better place to do it (although I can't imagine something better than the castle). Can you walk up the castle steps? I don't know if it's blocked off because of the Cinderellabration going on. thanks for your help!!

I purposed to DW under the castle during the fireworks. Five years earlier she had commented to me about how someone she knew got engaged. She said "give me Disney under the fireworks anytime". She doesn't remember this, but it was tatooed in my head and I never forgot.

It was very speical.

i just proposed at mk two weeks ago! i did it while we were riding dumbo (her favorite ride).

as far as your brother goes...that sounds like a great idea! you can walk up the stairs, but sometimes it's blocked off for cinderellabration...so, you have to wait until it opens up.

if that doesn't work out...there's a wishing well off to the right (if facing the front of the castle) that he can try there as well.
