What are you saying is false information? Disney has begun to cancel FP that were made with a resort reservation at 60+ days for people who then canceled their resort reservation.
There's a huge thread about it here:

"It appears Disney has begun cancelling FPs for cancelled reservations." on March 23.

I was very confused by that post as well.

If the OP hasn't, I would call Disney and get this sorted out.
As mentioned, they are staying on site, paid up. Good question about tickets still being linked.

This was reported direct from Disney and I believe has been in effect since February 4th. If you book FPs with an onsite resort and then canceleed the onsite resort, the FPs will get cancelled a few days later unless you rebook an onsite resort.

FPs will now get deleted if you cancel a resort reservation (in some instances). The original date on the rumor was a few weeks early, but this was all confirmed by the end of the thread prior to it being locked.

Don’t want this thread turning into something it’s not.

So yes you’re all correct

What if you booked 60 days out with a WDW ressie and then cancelled and booked at, say, Swan, that gets 60 day fp? I could see myself doing that if I found a great last minute deal on PL.

OP, at the very least, I would take a screenshot of all your FPs now while they are still there. Not sure if this would even mean anything later but it would make me feel better to have a record of them. I would also call as others have suggested.

The OP probably received a resolution regarding their emails and now knows parameters for correct phone usage.
