getting desperate

We were there for 10 days last year, flew home on Easter evening.

The parks were packed the whole time. There were two days we got to the parks late. Both days were spent waiting in huge lines. :guilty:

The days we got to the parks in time for EE were great. We were able to stay ahead of the crowds and avoid the long lines. The parks were crowded but we still were able to have a great time.

If you get to the parks at opening and use fastpass, you should be fine.

Now we've gone where we arrived right after Easter (had to throw away all the yummy leftovers). Anyhow, still very, very busy. MK closed 3 times from noon-3/4pm ish to offsite guests. Pretty much from the weekend before Easter until the weekend after Easter it's pretty crowded (w/ the highest days being from mid-week before to mid-week after). That's pretty much a 2 week timeframe that the crowds will be at some of their highest levels.

That would be a hard call - as some schools have the week before Easter off for Spring Break and some have the week after Easter off for spring break - lots of families would be traveling both those weeks.

Kilee posted that has been hour experience also. :goodvibes :earsboy:

Dh found a spreadsheet of how busy the parks are every day of the year. According to it, the week after Easter is busier, but I don't know if the spreadsheet is supposed to be just this year, or in general, in which case Easter isn't a factor on it. From what I've heard on disboards overall, both will be just as busy.
