For our 6/15/03 Wonder Cruise, my daughter and I were planning to fly into MCO early Saturday morning, rent a car and enjoy the rest of the day exploring the Cape Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area.

My questions are:
When we disembark the ship after the cruise, what are our options on getting back to MCO? And do any of these options require a reservation?

Thanks.

You can purchase the DCL transfers one-way back to MCO. Not sure of the cost. The great thing about doing that is you can check your bags at the port (if you're flying on one of several airlines).

Unless you're planning on doing some other sightseeing prior to your flight, it would certainly beat the hassle of renting and returning a rental car.

I believe the transfers cost $28/pp. I agree, with just the two of you, if you're heading straight back to the airport, this may be the option for you. If you plan to go anywhere else on the way, I'd rent another car.

Just curious..does anyone know if there is a car rental place near the DCL terminal and if so which one and how far from the terminal is it? Thanks
