HI this maybe silly but its mine! I am wondering, if we are driving there and staying would we be able to just drive ourselves to the parks and or resorts rather than waiting aorund for buses etc? I see there are no parking fees for those folks staying at their resorts.

What are the pros and cons of doing it that way rahter than the buese etc???

Thank you! :car:

On average, driving yourself gets you there faster. (Magic Kingdom can be an exception because you then have to take the monorail or ferry which you don't take when you ride the bus.)

Buses are more carefree.

If you have a car, let your mood decide whether to use it.

It is actually my belief that the current capability of Disney Transportation depends on some guests' driving themselves. If all resort guests were to suddenly start using the buses, during a crowded time handling the guests at park closing time would take much longer.

On several recen trips I rented a car. I would drive to water parks (and get partially changed in the car!) and drive to Downtown Disney, but take the bus to the theme parks.
