Getting around in a Scooter/Wheelchair

My mother in law will be using a scooter during our visit to Disney and CGA. Not looking for any special treatment, but out of curiousity, will she get special treatment when it comes to lines, etc? Or does she wait in line like the rest of the crowds?

IT depends on the park and the ride...

In Disneyland she will use the exits for most of the rides..

In C/A the lines are Wheelchair compliant and she will wait in line with everyone else.... at a certain point on some of the rides they will break her away from the main crowd and send her to a side wheelchair entrance..
