Getting a taxi quick question?

Hi, My dh and Ds14 Are thinking of doing Discovery cove one day in our second week. DD6 does not want to do this (scared of dolphins )

Iam thinking DH could drop me and dd of in the AM at MK and then he and DS leave for DC.
However ....How will I get back to our resort (we will be off site).
Is it easy to get a taxi and from where? I don't want to be stranded. Plus How much is this likely to cost we will probably be in a condo or villa within 10 mins of disney.

Thanks for any help... Iam a bit nervous about this as it will be my first time in WDW and I don't want to be stranded.

There are no taxis available at the Magic Kingdom because Disney only allows their buses close to the park entrance. All other traffic must go to the TTC. Your best bet would be to either walk over to the Contemporary (ten minutes tops) or monorail over to there or the Poly or GF. You will find taxis waiting outside all WDW resorts. If one is not there a Cast Member will get one for you right away. My guess is that it should not cost more than $15.00.

I agree with the above poster but I think it would be more than $15.

There is also a taxi stand at the TTC, ask the CM to point it out to you.

I think it would be more than $15 too, but I'm not sure how much- last time we stayed offsite it was about $20 to our hotel in Kissimmee.
