PLEASE rescue a companion for Scrump. I have 4, only 1 from a breeder (the 1st of course before I'd educated myself on rescue organizations.) Pugs only get better as they get older. Our senior pugs... the most difficult to find homes for... the most loyal, loving faithful angels with hearts of gold. Another plus: they're already trained and can help train any others you have!
RUDisney Peanut lives here with me in AL. She is a very active 9 year old that was used as a breeder for her 1st 7 years of life. When she developed kidney disease from over-breeding, the "reputable breeder" called rescue to come get her.
My other 2 rescues, Molly & Emy are beautiful black dolls, both of which are in my lap as I type this. Neither is perfect, no dog shows for us, no "papers," lots of daily medications and many special foods in our house. But they make me smile every single day. They thank me for NOT choosing a puppy every day also.
Please spay and neuter your pets. There are too many out there that need a loving home. Is it really worth a few extra bucks you may make by breeding your animals? Because of their large heads, childbirth is very dangerous for pugs. Most have to be delivered by a vet.
Please don't continue to funnel money to these breeders. Choose rescue instead
