I just purchased some Disneyland Resort Express vouchers through getawaytoday.com for transfer to Santa Ana airport for my family. They are a lot cheaper than anyone else ($8.50/pp vs $15 on their website). However, they are telling me that I am not getting any actual vouchers myself, but instead they fax the vouchers into Disneyland Express the day of travel (2/25). I called DE to make a reservation, and they said that doesnt sound right, that I actually need to have vouchers in hand at the time of pickup in order to be let into the bus. I called GAT back and they assured me that faxing is how they do it, that I mustve been talking to a new employee and that they cant give me a paper to hand in. This is sounding a little strange to me, has anyone got any experience purchasing through them.

And what happens if I dont have a voucher, does the DE driver accept payment?

Did Getawaytoday take your email address? Because if they did they will send you a copy of a confirmation of purchase. If not I would call them back to see if they will send you one, or fax one to your home.

Its probably like Disneyland where you buy your park hopper tickets and when at the gate you hand them a confirmation number along with a piece of ID and they hand you over your ticket. When you are about to get on the bus, go to check in and hand over your ID so they can process your transportation voucher.

They sent me the confirmation, but it had no vouchers. I have other vouchers that I pick up at guest services, the problem with this one is that the vouchers are for hotel to airport, no airport to hotel, and Disneyland Express says you have to have to vouchers in order to climb on the bus. As far as I know there is no DL place where I can pick up the vouchers, just at the airport.

Regardless I got my money refunded, they were nice about it. Well do the supershuttle instead.

Same thing happened to me (we're arriving on the 25th to LAX) when I booked the DL Express through GAT last week - got a confirmation email but no info. So I called and he said that the vouchers would be mailed and would take a week to get here (I'm in Canada) and if I hadn't received them by then, to call back. I didn't realize that vouchers were to be mailed (thought it would be an e-ticket or something) and didn't want to chance it, so also asked for my money back, which they did without question. Then I went and booked directly through Grayline.

Now the Ariel's vouchers I know to pick up at the ticket booths, but nowhere on their site did it say anything about the Disneyland Express... :confused3
