Ok so i have decided if i can pay for the tickets before my trip i can go with no trouble in OCT

Question now is how dose the payment plan on getaway today.com work? I have enough for the down payment to start before june 10th so that i don't have to pay 150more after june 10th.

Has any one here done this payment plan before? How much a month do they want you to agree too? Can I call and talk to some one or is it all online?

I have got my art but tickets from them and always check there site for deals for my trips. This one seems to maybe be the best way for us to go.

Any help and answers are appreciated thank you.

I could see some one talking me out stuff lol and my son is only a kid for one more year and we want to see cars land buna vista and the Halloween party for one last trip till after wdw (in two years)

I haven't done it because there is a $50 fee to do the payment plan, and no fee for CostcoTravel. You put $125 down ($50 fee, plus $75 off your balance). You have to pay it off by 3 weeks before your trip, but no set payment schedule.

cosco don't you have to be a member for? and 50bucks down (with 75 on the package) i could deal with if it works as well as I think it would.
Ty tho the pay off with in 3 weeks isn't hard for us to do i was hoping to pay 40 a month or 50 a month just to pay some more of it off before trip.

I am a Costco member - do they also offer that service? Thanks in advance for taking the time to fill in the newbie!!

It ultimately books through Disney, but you get Costco perks: Free premium character meal voucher per person on the reservation, plus a $20/package. Also they are still on the old pricing until this weekend. For a number of the Good Neighbor hotels they have 3rd or 4th night free promotion through December. You have to put $200 down, no finance fee and you have until a month before your trip to pay it off.


Getawaytoday.com is the other one.

Getawaytoday.com is a site many have used here for tickets, midevil times, bus tickets and many more. I have heard nothing but good things about them and now i saw they are doing payment plan. with the ticket incress at dl this site has the lower prices till june 10th booked by then get old prices. I went though the online page and got to the payment plan page and read though it.

seems you can chose to pay 1 2 or 3 payments before your trip as long as its paid off by 3 or 4 weeks of the trip.

I dont know about cosco at all. Hope this helps and welcome to the Dis boards

If so it would be better to simply put the money on a Disney gift card and then buy your tickets when you get there or from the Disney website. If you pay an extra $50 just for monthly payments that's a loss of $50, not a good deal IMO. However, if you take that same amount of money and put it on a gift card then you're still prepaying for the tickets and saving $50.

I think Jade is trying to buy before the price increase of $150 for the deluxe pass.... So even if there is a $50 charge that will still save her $100.

I use getaway almost every time we go and their great. Above is correct 50 fee and 200 down then u make as many or few payments as you want until 3 wks before your trip. For me this is worth it because I book rooms event tix and some transportation. I've found even with th 50 fee they are less expensive than other places I've tried. Great staff that helps you too. wow i just typed in a full package and with the lower ticket price (for 3 and 4day hopper sand at quality inn across the street (with breakfast and Microwave (unlike other) and the free night free. its cheaper then what i had saved cheaper hotel no breakfast about same distances away.

I am more likely gona get the package and pay the 50bucks to get the package deal started and pay some off before my other check comes in.

Thanks for the info, i was just making sure before i did this to make sure most ppl here have had good times with them ive heard so much good, but then saw some Canadian visitors had some trouble so had to ask

When you book with a travel agent, we deal with many companies/tour operators that you only put down $200 and the rest needs to be paid 45 days prior to departure (no payment plan, but you can put whatever you want whenever you want, just has to be paid off 45 days prior). This is not just for Disney, this is for all kinds of travel (mexico packages, cruises, bus tours, hawaii, whatever). There is no fee for that kind of thing (or at least we dont' charge a fee for it and lots of agencies don't either).

I don't believe Get Away Today sells annual passes. They do sell tickets though, and they are selling two-day through six-day passes for the old prices until June 7 or June 10 (I've seen two different dates posted now, not sure which is correct). Since Jade needs 2 adult and 1 child ticket, even with the $50 fee, she is going to save at least a little bit of money locking in the old ticket price now rather than buying later at current rates.

Our company, along with many agencies only require a deposit to lock in the prices and don't charge the $50 fee or any fee. Full payment would still have to be 45 day before departure though.

Will this work for just tickets ? I do not need a hotel package as I get employee rates just down on harbor. If I could lock in the 6 day hoppers and pay $125 down and have them paid before we go that would be amazing !!!

Anybody know if you can do a payment plan for just tickets and transportation ?


I am not worried about the $50 fee totally worth the savings from the 6 day to 5 day now !!

yes i was going to do just tickets earlyier when testing the site out, and it gave me option to do payment plan, i then checked package and saw it saved me money and gave three things i wanted breakfast, internet, and microwave that Anahme plaza couldn't promise to have

Just wanted to update that I DID recieve the DLE vouchers and to send to canada it took about 2 weeks which was pretty quick.
All-in-all great customer service.
