First, my family LOVED "Soarin'"! We were worried that it would not live up to all the hype over it but we loved it! Wish it was longer and that it showed other views than just California (which is why I believe they are working on an entire USA Soarin' film) but overall, a great ride! But what I can't believe Disney didn't correct was that you can see the feet of the folks above you! We all noticed this right off the bat and heard many other folks mention this during and after the ride. I would think that moving the upper rows back just a little would have corrected this.

Does this bother anyone else? Still a great show but not Disney perfect!

If you really want to see something peculiar,

depending on which row you sit on, you can extend your legs forward, and it casts and shadow on the screen towards the sides.

Row one saves you from the "feet dangling" debacle. We were fortunate enough to get row one the first time we went on Soarin' and it was terrific. Got row two the second time and it definitely ruined the mood for us. Some say they don't even notice the feet, but we did...

I notice it most of the time but only at times during the show. The reason the feet are so noticeable is due to the fact that people naturally like to rock their legs back and forth when up there, so while you are watching the show, you see these legs in your vision moving.

I alomst thing putting a short black skirt behind the legs would have been better so you dont see any movement, which woudn't draw your attention away from the screen.

The first time we rode it we were in row one (highest row) so there were no dangling feet above us. I loved it! The next time we were in the lowest row and the hanging feet really took away from the true gliding feeling.

I have ridden it four times and all four times we have been in row 2. The feet don't bother me. I don't know if I would feel different if I have experienced row 1??

I've only ridden in row 3 and the feet never bothered me a bit. With everything going on in front of you, feet don't seem to matter that much. Hey, no ride is perfect, but this one is darn near perfect. That's good enough for me.

I did not particulary care for the feet either. Hopefully next time I can experience row 1

I'm glad it's not just us because the feet thing has made us crazy from the first time we rode. Especially when you have the flip flop / bare feet people above you! :crazy2:

We got into row one thinking it was going to be the lowest.... boy were we wrong when we started rising

How close are the feet? Can you smell them :crazy2:

Now... THAT would REALLY bother me!!!!!

Doesn't bother us at all. The room is dark so it is hard to tell who is wearing shoes and who isn't. No you can't smell the feet.

just came back. loved the ride. did'nt even notice the feet. to busy looking at the awesome sites

First row you cannot see feet, but even in the rows you can I still love this ride. :Pinkbounc

I read about the feet thing before I rode it, we ended up in row two so I expected to see feet. I just didnt pay attention and I loved the ride! I didnt want to focus on anything else and it was fine.
