Get in Shape & Lose Weight for August 2014 Group

Normally I can't either, but we had enough points on SW for free airfare this time ($120 total for fees and Early Bird) and we have about $800 rewards from our Disney Visa toward food, so I had some wiggle room this time. I found someone who rents points at $11 a point and was able to book at 11 months out. I averaged $165 a night. I still get giddy when I think about it. There's still that little bit of worry that I'll show up and they won't have my reservation.

Fabulous opportunity- I have a hard tim justifying spending more for rooms too- but I definitely plan on a future "special" trip #yolo

I will bring some running stuff just in case but I doubt I will end up using it. Just walking around the parks will be enough to do me in every night. I figure it's only a week. :)
 
It's supposedly 75 and humid. It feels hot to me since it's been so cold here. Bring it on! Gotta get used to it!

I've never done a dismeet either. I think it'd be cool to try to meet up with you guys while there. I'm not sure exactly how my plans work out. The end of my week seems more laid back than the beginning. This is how it's panning out so far.

None of our days match up but we will take kids back to the resort each day from about 1-4ish.

I've never done a Dis meet either mainly due to the fact that I'm never sure what we are doing and the rest of the family could care less. Boo family!
 
I have had a real problem doing anything the last week or two. Barely any exercise, eating stuff I know I shouldn't. Just kind of watching myself poor a soda and drink it thinking "I should have water instead." Thinking logically has not helped, so I decided I needed a reality check and went clothes shopping. Oh, yes, I did and it wasn't pretty. Didn't buy anything either. So today's a new day and I'm drinking my lemon water and getting ready to exercise. If trying on swimsuits and summer clothes isn't enough to motivate, then I don't know what is. Bring it!
 
My kid's rehearsal schedule has thrown a huge wrench in my routine. I am not exercising. I am sitting at the computer eating crackers with peanut butter instead. :p
 
Hello my friends. :goodvibes I'm still keeping at it. Running and trying to eat healthy. This weekend was not a healthy eating one as we had a wedding to attend on Saturday and my birthday to celebrate. Went out Friday night for my official birth date (turned the big 41) and then had cake and ice cream last night with extended family.

The running is happening about 3 times a week. I'm using a 5K app to help me increase my time but I can't really tell as I don't time myself as I'm running. I just do what the app tells me to do and when to do it. Contemplating running a 5K on Friday the 4th in a nearby town. Sure would keep the guilt away while I'm eating all the yummy stuff I plan on eating at the 4th of July cookout I'm attending.

I ran this morning. Had to use my inhaler once, but I did it. Man, I hate humidity!

Humidity does suck. Tomorrow is a running day and I plan on getting up extra early so I can have a some what cooler time. Plus I have to be at an appointment for 9:15a and it takes me an hour to get there so I need to be home and showered to leave by 8a. Challenge.......accepted!
 
I HAVE to do early tomorrow too. Before DH leaves for work. So. So. Early.
