We bought our park hoppers from Get Away Today. We arrive late Saturday night, March 19th, and will spend our first day at Knotts on Sunday(10am -7pm).

Should we go to Disney after Knotts (DL is open until midnight) to pick up our tickets for our first day at Disney the next morning? Will having our tickets already save us time in the morning?

If it is a good idea to go pick up tickets ahead of time, is there a place those of us who have to pick up the tickets can be dropped off and the car can wait for us (we are staying off site)?

Am I correct in thinking that only the person who purchased the tickets has to show photo ID to pick them all up?

Thanks for any help you can give me :)

How are you getting to Knotts? Are you taking a Grayhound Tour to Knotts? or are you Driving? If your taking Grayhound your going to be waiting outside your hotel at a certain time. If your diving, perhaps maybe you can skooch over to Disneyland for 10 minutes or so and pick up your tickets before you head to knotts.

I dont think you would have an issue if you waited until the day you went to Disneyland to get them. Just go to the park a tad bit earlier then normally and get your tickets. Even if you didnt, I dont think you would have to wait long in line anyway. They noramlly have a ton of ticket booths open.

We have a rental car for the duration of our stay. I am just worried that with it being spring break it will be crazy and thought we might save time picking up the Park Hoppers the day before.

I think you will be just fine, even if you got them the day of going into Disneyland. You might save yourself 10 minutes or so by getting them early, but its not that big of a deal. If your really concerned I would totally go to the park a tad earlier just for a peace of mind. I have no doubt things will work out for you. :thumbsup2

We picked up our tickets the night before but did not go into the park. The ticket booths are outside Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. So that is always an option also. :thumbsup2

YES!! Definitely go and pick up your tickets the night before. They aren't activated until you actually go through the turnstiles. The person whose name is on the reservation - yours if you were the one who purchased them - will need to pick up the tickets. You MUST have your ID and then you will be issued all the tickets. I did it this way when we went with my family (extended) and it is a little time consuming since they print out all of the tickets - for us it was 9.

I know there is a drop off place somewhere, but have you considered parking in DTD parking and maybe walking around in there? You could check out World of Disney and the Lego store and wander over to get your tickets. That way you don't have to worry about everyone waiting in the car while you hustle in to get tickets. DTD parking is free for 2 hours, I think!

There's also a 15 minute free parking lot right off Harbor, near the main crosswalk, here:

Yes you do need to have your ID there as proof of purchase. Also, I dont know if this has relevance to your or anyone else, but if it does happen here is what happened to us.

I went to my local travel agent *Flight Center* with my mom and a friend. We purchased our park passes all together on one document, but the travel agent let us pay seperately. So we had 1 document to bring to the park. Once at the main gate, good thing all 3 of us where together, because we all had to show our IDs even though one document. It makes sense I guess for security purposes.

Thanks so much for the fantastic replies and info. I think we will definitely pick them up the night before and it is great to know about the parking options. If everyone is not too beat a walk through DTD sounds like a great idea too.

I really appreciate all the help!
