Geriatric MM Warriors!

I have a feeling you are going to stay on your throne for a long time enjoying being treated like the queen you are!

THank God!!! I hate to say this but I have a small little teeny tiny feeling that it just wont last --you're talkingto a girl who went through her parents getting divorced so it always comes back to 'it's gonna happen eventually' BUT, that feeling is getting smaller and smaller so hopefully soon it'll be gone for good!! :cheer2:

Barb - Your are funny! I was thinking today that I wanted to email the Admins at LCF and tell them a thing or two! I probably won't, but if I do, I will tell them that they lost your order to Amazon!

Hi Kate. It used to drive me nuts over at LCF when I posted a product and the letters would light up in blue, fast-track linking me to Netrition for a sale  At least with Amazon, if you order over $25 shipping is free and they sell everything I could possibly want.

Hi, Natalie. I am a family law (divorce) attorney. It was a whole weekend of "continuing education." The information was interesting but it means that I didn't get any "me" time. It also means that I haven't had any time to keep up with my MM Warrior friends!

OMG - that is the one type of law my attorneys hate to practice. We have only one family case still in our practice and it has been on-going for over 10 years. They did finally get divorced, but the Ex Husband is hiding assets, etc. They both come from monied farming families and were married for about 25 years, so there are a ton of issues about dividing property. I am appalled at the amount of money it has cost so far and there is no end in sight. You could buy a decent home in our area for what she has paid us in those 10 years.

It is amazing how a good family attorney can make such a difference in the lives of people who are suffering.

If you can find Irish Cream SF Davinci or !!Torani syrup, just mix some of that with heavy cream & a shot of whiskey.....YUM!!

I just found this suggestion – 0 carbs??? I even have some Davinci Irish Cream in the pantry!!!

I just posted the recipe for the Bailey’s on the recipe thread in case you need it for the Godiva ride and I am not there!!

I’m not sure it would be counted as 3 carbs the way Diane figures carbs, but there are definitely calories and fat!!!!

And now we are up another page!!!

My gosh, I just realized I have some Torani sf Irish Cream tucked away too :yay:

That is such good news! Thanks for emailing them. I would hate to think of Abby not knowing where we went? I hope Tutu is feeling better.

How did your open house go today?

It went well. I had several groups of nice people. There's one couple that really wants the house. A very small percentage of homes actually get offers at Open Houses, but I believe in trying everything! :wizard:

You betcha ! :cool1: Edited to say: We can't let Lisa bartend, she'd add grass juice or something to them. Love you Lisa!

:lmao:I say we do tequila shots! I'm a light weight, but one thing I don't mess with is drinks - no grass juice! Maybe lime juice!:drinking1

I actually saw that! It was sooo gross. And the kid was sleeping on his dad and wouldn't wake up for the interview. When he did, he threw up.
My BIL worked at NORAD and we got a tour when we went to visit them. He is now retired from the air force and works in Colorado Springs as a missle engineer. I know that cost a pretty penny. Wonder if they will have to reimburse any of the expenses?

Maybe they drugged him?? Poor little thing.:sad2:

OMG - I just lost a huge reply I was in the middle of.

I welcomed those who just found us (Sunnee and Pam I think). I spoke about being excited to see Laura, Abby and Cheryl.

Good lluck to Lisa with the open house.

Jocelyn - I hope you post the chili recipe. Sounds good.

Nell - will you start school in January?

I am also a reformed smoker, but quit cold turkey almost 20 years ago. Please stop smoking, we love you and want you to be around for a long time.

I talked about our annivery last night. Highlight was one stop on the tour was at the church we were married in.

this is a much shorter post, but DS15 decided at 10:30 that he needed a load of :laundy: for tomorrow, so I need to go flip that and go to bed.

I'll see you all tomorrow!

Hey, Lisa. I am finally in the right time zone! Thanks! Did you put pesto on your spaghetti squash? I ate two spaghetti squash last week!

I put organic basil sauce 6 carb from Trader Joes with some ground turkey and a lot of spinach. Tom had the leftovers tonight. It was great! I don't know what took me so long to get a spaghetti squash! We liked it even better than spaghetti. But then I eat a lot of grass:rotfl:

Beverly: That was so sweet that you went by the church you were married in! One anniversary a couple of years ago, we went out to dinner - it's in June so nice evening. I said before we go home let's go for a drive and we decided to go by all of our old homes. We went to his bachelor house and started from there. Spent a lot of time talking outside the one we brought our baby home to and ended up at our newer, bigger home. It was a really neat trip down memory lane and gave us an appreciation for everything we have accomplished. I'm so glad you had such a nice night!

Seabreezes: We need a second honeymoon since Tom was sick right before our son graduated from college, we couldn't take a trip for our 30th anniversary. We're hoping to perhaps go back to Hawaii this coming year.

Nite, nite!
Love you all!
Lisa

Hi Beverly. Yes if things went well and I got into school and the financial aid goes ok, then I would start in January. There's a lot of things that could get in the way. :duck: If that's what god has in store for me though, it will come through.

Lisa, I'm glad it went well. Maybe the people interested in it will buy it. Did you bake cookies like they do on open houses on TV? :cool1:

This will be good morning for most people!!

I just made sure I had all of Diane's respones on my computer. Interesting reading once again. I found the chart of how much weight we are suppose to lose and I guess I am doing OK - but it doesn't seem like much is changing at the moment. I am not suppose to lose much and I think I need to lose a lot! I am also not being perfect which is always a problem!!! I think I will be each day and then something happens. Re-reading her posts has helped me though, I think.

I went back to the new site - I don't see how it can work.:confused3 They would be much better to just stay on LCF, at least that way they can find each other and the threads. AggieMom offered to get it set up better and moderate it, so that will mean it is still the same. At least Netrition is not popping up all the time, but you can navigate the site and find things. Look at the money behind this site....and it is delightful with all of the fun things they have.

Diane did post the new link so maybe they will get the new people searching the web for her diet and all will be OK. I'm just not impressed.

I will post a chili recipe, but I just put things together. It will be what I put in, but not portions per se.

Lisa, how great if you can come this way. We have travelled a lot the last few years, but are staying put a bit more now.

Will "see" you all later in your day! Have lots going on so will have a lot of pages to catch up on:yay::yay:

I just noticed Lisa is a Mouseketeer!!! :cool1:

I wasn't sure about earning my ears so I put MM in there instead! Maybe I should go back and see what I eventully become!:)

I can only imagine what Bev is with her huge number of posts. Maybe she is Mickey himself or Minnie??

I am aware of several cases in my county where people have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on fighting their way through divorces. It is really sad! One of the cases I am thinking about, the people have three children and it has been terrible for the kids (two of the children don't have any contact with their dad). I always tell my clients that I would prefer that they keep their money for themselves than spend it fighting.

I bought one of my houses at an open house!

:cheer2: Yeah!!! I found you guys!! Good morning  Funny this site almost looks like the other.

:grouphug:

:grouphug:

Yay! Laura! I hope you are feeling better! Looks can be deceiving. Over here, we can say things like Shakeology and Vitacost.com and no one deletes our posts! We can cuss if we feel like it and there is no one big boss making decisions for the whole group! Lots of warm and fuzzies over here!!!

OK, Am I the only one AWAKE this morning??? Y'all stayed up late gabbing I see!! Well, I must admit I had a wonderful cozy chat with the man last might myself!! OMG, I really do like him alot, and boy does that tick me off!! I actually watch my phone and wait for his calls! How pathetically "school-girl" is that!! :lovestruc

Bev and Lisa - your relationships sound so romantic...I can only WISH, that someday Ken turns out to be my "knight in shining armor" too!

OK Lisa - so NO messing with the drinks! No weird additives or anything, just let me have this ONE THING straight up!! Hey, I just thought of something...if you eat alot of "grasses" then you must be an honorary "PONY"!! Just had a visual of you out grazing in the fields of High Point Farm with the ponies!!:rotfl: I bet we have some sort of weird grass out there you could add to a meal sometime!!

So do y'all think Aggie is going to be GL's new apprentice dictator? Kinda feels that way to me....almost feel bad for the newbies! But if you really read some of the last few weeks posts at LCF, it seems that most of them were really taking alot of liberties with the plan that all of us would NEVER have tried...I guess we are just more hard core...and I really do think that Diane taakes us seriously because we DO take the plan seriously and try to do things the way she recommends instead of constantly trying to find ways to cheat and amend things. JMHO:confused3

Jocelyn - I have not tried the Bailey's recipe yet...I was waiting for the holidays, since it seems it only keeps for two weeks in the fridge? But darn it if I can track down that SF Davinci's Irish cream, then its all out party time here in Virginia!!:woohoo:

Natalie - you got me figured out girl! Nell DEFINITELY lost me with the pukeweed!! Given the options of my Marlboro Lights vs. Pukeweed? hmmmm M.L. win hands down!!!:yay::yay::yay:

Kate - had a very nice chat with China...he is so sweet to carve out time in his busy days there to talk to me...I totally forgot what time he said it was there? :cloud9:

Barb - I agree, that highlighting on LCF to lead you to a Netrition order always ticked me off...and I NEVER ordered anything? Headed straight to Amazon!!

Kathy - continuing prayers for not only Michael, but especially for you and Mike...its hard to pursue the "tough love" route, but in my years with the PD I have seen many families have to make that decision whether to protect themselves and their other children by stepping away and letting the child learn the hard way. BTW, chestnuts are pretty good, especially roasted...not sure of the fat content in them though. I have a Lovely Black Walnut tree down by my barn and it producecs nuts every other year. This is an ON year so me and the squirrels are already hoarding them away!! Its is so cute to see the little squirrels with a big ole black walnut in their mouths running across the yard! I gather up a huge bucket of them and then set them out on my back deck over the winter...just in case there is a squirrel family out there who is running a few nuts short!!:santa:

Hey Laura!! Glad you made it here!! It is great because Bev set this up so it is almost like LCF, but with lots of smilies we are having a ball with, plus like Kate said, we can have our smaller group of friends together, with no one deleting our posts or trying to get us to buy stuff from them!! And we can chit chat about our personal stuff without anyone over there geting all huffy and trying to make us feel bad about it! Its really great here and we are so happy!! Even better now that we have our exercise and water police back with us!!

Pony's exercise report: I have been religiously going to the gym after work (10:30pm) now for two weeks, am working out with a trainer once a week, and feel GREAT!! My blood sugar readings really dropped drastically too! I really hope this will jump start some inch losses for me!

Morning Kate!
