George W. Bush or John Kerry

Regarding world opinion...

I care more about the RIGHT thing (bringing democracy to the world) than the POPULAR thing (bowing to the will of the UN and Europe.)

I don't usually post on political threads either. I'm voting for Bush. I've heard nothing to give me a good reason to vote for Kerry. I mostly hear "anything but Bush" or "not another four years" etc. and that's not a good enough reason. I'm waiting to hear something concrete, something that will tell me that Kerry is the better man. Kerry hasn't said anything that makes me want to change my mind.

My prayer is that the best man will win the election. That was my prayer in 2000 and Bush won. I'm not praying for a certain man, just the best man, no names are given in my prayers for the election. If Kerry wins, so be it and I will support him because I believe we should support our president. But at the moment, Bush has my vote.

Our country needs a strong, dedicated LEADER who's sole focus is on what's best for the people of the USA.

Kerry's only focus is on himself and how much power he can get (with Teddy pulling the strings!).

My vote is GEORGE BUSH all the way!!

Absolutely, 100% supporting and voting for John Kerry. I believe he has a better plan for settling matters in Iraq, including (but not limited to) increased support from other nations, so we are no longer shouldering the burden almost completely alone; I support his stance that we should not be providing tax breaks that encourage corporations to take jobs out of the US and ship them overseas (tax breaks, I might add, that the Bush admin put into place) and instead encourage corps. to keep those jobs in the USA; I believe we need to address the issues of health care, most specifically the cost of perscription drugs; and lastly, I believe we need to reverse the ban on stem cell research, and I like the Kerry/Edwards plan of doing so using unwanted/discarded IVF embryos, since it will allow for medical advancements without offending those with anti-abortion sentiments.

Yes, there are a lot of reasons I truly like and support John Kerry as the next President of our great nation.

GO KERRY!

I would strongly suggest that you read (with an open mind) Unfit for Command. It will open your eyes to the lying that we are hearing from John Kerry. I can't believe that over two hundred Vets would band together, risk law suits for slander, and their rep's if even a part of the story that they are telling is true.
This is a load, frankly..."Unfit for Command" is nothing but a pack of lies, bought and paid for by Dubya's biggest supporter in the state of Texas (not counting Ken Lay, of course). It's blatantly FALSE, and has been proven so more than once. They can't even get their own story straight, with one guy recanting, then not, then recanting again (a few years after that same guy campaigned for John Kerry).

The book isn't worth it's weight in toilet paper.

Have you actually followed anything this administration has done in the past four years ? And you accuse Kerry of caring for nobody but himself ?

"Hello pot, this is the kettle...I got somethin' to tell ya'..."

Good for you !

Just a suggestion....Carefully watch which candidate is addressing issues, and which one is mindlessly slandering his opponent....It may help you make up your mind.

Do you have proof, or is this just your opinion?

Hmmm..Seems you weren't so quick to demand examples of the other guy when Kerry was being slandered  ... But why does the name "Halibutron" immediately spring to mind ? And why do those tax cuts on the most wealthy jump in there with it ?

Examples and proof of a detailed plan from Kerry and Edwards. Not just political verbage. Tell be the plan!

Would you bet the lives of your children on Kerry's plan to protect this nation. Would you put the lives of your children in the hands of the UN? That's what Kerry wants to do. Make your vote count for something. Vote for the person who can best put a program into play that will protect this country. Does it not bother you that our enemies would rather have Kerry in office than President Bush? Just a thought.

Fascinating image. For me, the words toilet paper bring to mind images of...oh, say, reels of movie film........

after all, the imagery has to address the surrealism of the underlying metephore.....

I would feel MUCH MUCH safer with Kerry leading our nation than I do with Bush misleading it. I honestly don't understand this whole "We're stronger if we stand alone than if we stand together" mentality.

And jeez louise, how many times are you guys gonna bring this dead horse up? Fact: The ONLY candidate the TERRORISTS have come out in support of is George Bush. And if they don't count among our enemies, I don't know who does. (This has been brought up many times on these boards...just do a search for it. I don't feel like going back and posting links to the articles for the umpteenth time.)
