George Michael

I love George Michael and he has a new CD out....has anyone bought this yet?

I've been a huge fan for many years, through his ups and downs. I really love his music and style.

LOVE George Michaeal. Also went to two of his concerts back in the late 80's/early 90s. Very good voice, great dancer, nice TUSH.

Unfortunately, I haven't been wild about his newer stuff. Haven't heard the new CD either.

Didn't know he had a new CD out. I always liked him during his Wham days and those shortly after.

Hope he finally got himself cleaned up and has found happiness.

I've always been a GM fan too. His voice is very unique. But then again, HE is very unique sometimes too!

Apparently since his "arrest" he lost a boyfriend to AIDS and his mother to cancer. I heard him on a local NY radio station and he said this CD is a celebration of coming out of a very dark time.

He's got such a great voice. One of my best memories was when I took my mother, who unfortunately passed last year, to a concert when I was 19. I waited all night for tickets and got 2nd row center seats somehow (at Madison Square Garden none the less). We had the best time and he "sang" to us most of the show. I'll remember that night with my mom and "George" forever.

Personal problems aside, I think George Michael has a lot of talent. I remember seeing him at the Queen tribute concert, where many singers/groups got together to pay tribute to Freddie Mercury. He was the only one that could come anywhere near matching Freddie's vocal talent. I've been impressed ever since.

Also a George Michael fan here. Havn't heard about his latest cd yet, i'll have to look it up on Amazon. The last one i got was his "Jesus to a Child"--beautiful, absolutley stunning song by the way.

I like him too. And I also heard him on the NY radio show. But I could have sworn that I heard a while back that he hated America so much that he would never release a CD or tour here ever again. I guess he realized how much money he would be losing if he didn't release here. I remember seeing Wham in concert so many years ago. I was wearing my CHOOSE LIFE shirt.

No, you must be thinking about Alec Baldwin, Gwyneth Paltrow, Barbara Streisand, et al...

Kidding aside, I know he dislikes Prez bush # 1 and did a parody song about it. That was a few years back and I guess he realized that he shouldn't bite the hand that feeds him - so to speak.

I love George Micheal!!!! I saw him at the Orange Bowl in Miami years ago (during the FAITH tour).

I saw the new video on VH1. It was OK. I think the name of the song is "Amazing". The last CD I have of his is "OLDER". I think it's really good.

Another George fan here! He was the best in concert I've ever seen (the Faith tour)!!!!

His new song (Amazing) is very good and his CD has gotten great reviews.

Can 't wait to hear more!

I'm going to try and find this CD this weekend....I saw a commercial for it yesterday and they played "Amazing" and I liked the sound of that song.

I believe your right, I think it's called Patience(sp)... I also think it 's title has subliminal messages to his fans. I've read that he was very unhappy with his record label and wanted to be free, but they wouldn't cut him so he made really bad songs to persuade them.

Sounds like he accomplished what he set out to do.

I hope this CD sells well for him!

I am a huge George Michael fan and have been waiting a long time for a new album from him. It is called "Patience," as someone already posted, and the first single, "Amazing," is a great song!

Watched him on Oprah yesterday....he was wonderful.

The CD is # 1 on Amazon today. WTG!!
