I just bought a XXL George Foreman grill on sale at Kohls today. I used it tonight to grill boneless, skinless chicken breasts and they were great! Does anyone else have one of these and any ideas on what all I can make with it? Can you make frozen hamburger patties on it or do I need to thaw them first?

I have a George Foreman and also love to make chicken on it! As for hamburgers, I believe I have made the frozen patties on there, it just takes a little bit longer to cook. We have made some really good steak, hot dogs, marinated (boneless) pork chops, fish and grilled cheese. The only thing we didn't like on the grill was grilled cheese. Oh, also, we love to grill veggies on there, they come out very yummy.

I LOVE mine! I haven't put anything frozen on it though. Usually on Sunday a buy a mess of meat and cook it all.....George is busy all afternoon! Then I freeze the cooked meat...then just microwave it when I want it. Sometimes I deliberately undercook what I'm going to freeze so I can 'finish it off' when I microwave it (usually do this with pork because I hate it when I end up overcooking it in the reheating process). When the weather is nice I like to cook mass quantities on the outside grill too. A package of hot dogs cooked outside, then microwave warmed when you're ready to eat them.....taste great! And are almost as good when they were cooked on the George Foreman......certainly way better than just poping one from the package to the microwave.

We love ours. I have done chicken, steaks, burgers, salmon, grilled cheese for the kids, even a London Broil.

One of my favorites is to make burgers. The big one can fit 6 quarter pound patties simultaneously. Since SWMBO and I don't eat our burgers on a bun, I like to slice up some red, green, yellow and organge peppers and some onions and grill them up before doing the burgers. I put the veggies in a bowl and cover it to keep them warm while the burgers cook. The burger goes on a plate, slice of LF cheese on top, some LC catsup and some mustard. Top the whole thing with the grilled veggies. Delish!!

I really like it for chicken breasts - just season them with your favorite seasoning and cook them on them the GF grill. Really quick entree.

A tip - spray the grill with PAM or some other cooking spray before heating. When you are done cooking, unplug the grill and lay a couple of wet paper towels on the grill and close it. It will steam while you eat and it makes clean up a lot easier.

We love our grill! DH makes hot dogs on it, as well as burgers, sausages and quesadillos (low carb). They come out so good!

I just retired my second one. I've had them since the first year they came out!!

We make chicken, hamburgers and grilled cheese on them. They're priceless!! I know now because I had to throw my last one out because of an ant infestation!! UGH! I couldn't do anything but throw it in a bag and out on the porch. When my son took out the garbage he couldn't believe we were throwing away his PRECIOUS George Foreman grill. I promised I'd get another one AFTER ant season...

We loce ours too. Have cooked chicken, steaks, chops and hotdogs on the XXL one. Recently received small one as a Christmas pressie and it is excellent for one person sized meals.
Haven't used it for frozen foods though.

I LOVE my George Foreman Grill. I'm also on my 2nd one and use it for everything. Pork chops, chicken, hot dogs, quesadillas, and grilled cheese. We love Grilled cheese the most probably on there. :) I have to say a BIG thank you to you JCJRSmith - my only complaint with my GFG is cleaning it and your ideas are great. I'm going to try them the next time I use it. I have thrown frozen pork chops and hamburgers on it with no problem. A little longer cooking time is all that's needed!

We have 2 of them. One is used of burgers, hot dogs, chicken, pork chops etc. The second one is for fish. I love tuna steak on the Foreman. YUM!

Wow, thanks everyone for all the great ideas! I think I'm going to love my grill!

JCJRSmith, thanks for the cleaning tip with the paper towels. It was a little hard to clean last night and it sounds like your method works great.
