Has anyone booked this and would share your experience. Is it worth the price? It will just be me and my 23 year old daughter. Looking to do something we haven't done before.

If you can get a Geo 82 reservation around 7:45 or later (when the fireworks are at 9pm), I would not book the dessert option. We had one of the last regular reservations for the day and got into the Lounge around 7:55pm. We ordered drinks and food and were there for the fireworks. We hadn't really planned it, it just worked out that way. You can't see all of the fireworks like you would if you were outside (some are lower and some seemed higher than our vantage point), but it was nice. We were seated in a corner at the windows, so we could see out from our seats. Others in the Lounge just got up and moved towards the windows to watch. There were tables at and near the windows (in the center of the Lounge) that were reserved for the package, but from what I saw, I would not have paid the price. If you can get an earlier reservation and plan to stretch it out, please order from your server and don't take up a table for 2 hours and order only soda. And if you do, tip VERY well. I really liked Geo 82, more than I expected I would (even without fireworks).

So an 8:15 rez is a very good thing then? Excellent!

Agree with PP. We did a regular reservation at 8:15 pm and were seated at the window at the very end - the view was incredible and we could order as much or as little as we liked. We spent way less than the package and had a fantastic view. I wouldn't hesitate to do this again knowing we could be seated anywhere in the lounge. An unobstructed view is certainly not guaranteed, but even our partial view was great. It is absolutely lovely being in that lounge during the fireworks.

It’s a great thing! The drinks are a little pricey but the CM’s are very well educated and the drinks were fantastic. Like I said, I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Enjoy!
I just went to review the menu. Youch! You arent kidding about the prices on the drinks. But you only live once. I am definitely trying the caramelized leek martini.

That is a drink that is rather polarizing. Some absolutely hate it, while others find it interesting. I am in the "it sounds too gross for me to even try" boat. My brother got the bourbon tasting, it was good. I had a lemonly type of drink with vodka, it wasn't on the menu but the bartender made it, I really liked it! None of the specialty cocktails appealed to me, so the server asked me what I liked and they came up with whatever it was that I drank! It is a full service bar so you can order regular drinks, it's not premade stuff like at Oga's. I don't remember what everyone else got, but I know we all left happy.

I see a lot of people recommending just booking a late dining to view the fireworks and I just wanted to add our experiences with this. We've done it twice now, one time the fireworks were at 9, so we booked an 8:20 reservation, and the other they were at 9:30 so we booked an 8:50 reservation. Each time we noticed that everyone who had bookings around the time we were there were seated around the perimeter of the room, so at the bar or at tables off against the walls, the tables in the center of the space that weren't with the fireworks dining package weren't used even though they were unoccupied and stayed unoccupied through the rest of the night. We found that so weird since they would have a much better view than the tables around the perimeter and I'd bet quite a few people would prefer to sit at a table instead of the bar.,

During our first time there a woman who was sitting next to us at the bar tried to move down to one of the unoccupied tables that would have a better view, but was told she couldn't do that and had to come back up to the bar, which was a bit surprising since the park was closed so it wasn't like they were holding that seat for someone else. The view from the bar seats isn't horrible, you just can't see the higher fireworks, but the view from the far sides wasn't as good.

Not sure if we just went on off nights, but we've seen it twice now, most recently in December, so wonder if after a certain time they stop putting putting people in the seats with the better view for some reason.

We did really enjoy it though, the drinks and food we've tried have been fantastic so we'll keep coming back. We actually booked the fireworks package for April just to try it out and we're so excited for that!

I've done it both ways, a regular late reservation with friends that was along the side wall and the fireworks package as a solo. We still had a decent view of the fireworks from the side and the ala carte drinks and snacks were definitely the less expensive option. But I also enjoyed the better food options, the non-alcoholic champagne, and center view of the package experience. I would do either again, just depends on what kind of experience you are looking for.
