Gently Played with AG doll on Craig's List advice

My daughter has been asking for more American Girl dolls for a companion to her bought new doll and I can't bring myself to spend another $130. An ad on Craigs list has 5 dolls to choose from at $50 each. The dolls are Kit, Samantha, Kirsten, and two other. Only one has the original outfit but no shoes. The pictures are okay and the hair has been brushed. I have no idea what these dolls would be worth since they are used and have been played with. Are they worth $50 and what would you offer? $50 a doll sounds like a fair price if they are in good condition. I know Samantha is retired, if one of the others is Felicity she's retired too. I resold a nude Kristian a year back or so for $70 on ebay. If you are taking more than one you could always try and offer a slightly lower price to bundle them.

That's a very fair price, especially if they are in good condition. I paid $70 for a Josephina, she did have complete outfit, but her hair needed a Downey dunk.

The hair was messed up and ratty, you can soak the hair for a few hours and it tames it.
