Genie??

Its been awhile since I have made Disney plans. What is the deal with the Genie? has it replaced the fast pass?

Yes, and it costs money. This is the most comprehensive thread about it on DISboards: https://www.disboards.com/threads/the-genie-usage-tips-and-strategy-only-thread.3857056/, but there are many others. The basics are that you pay $15 per day per person for Genie+, which allows you to book "Lightning Lane" access to rides, same as FP. Then there are 2 rides in each park that are separate from Genie+, and to book Lightning Lane access to them you have to pay a price that can be found here: https://www.disboards.com/threads/disney-genie-announcement.3849361/post-63513111. There are videos on the internet that can show you how to use the system. Good Luck -- I've been following it since the announcement and throughout the implementation, and it still confuses me!
