Probably asked and answered previously, but here goes..AP holder and staying at All Stars Music Tuesday and Wednesday next week...does the Genie show up on My Disney Experience app automatically, if so, when/ , or is it something to install, because I see no place to purchase the plan..thanks..

Great question….

When does the option to buy Genie+ appear on the app?

So, first... make sure you update the app. Then, click on the + or on the three lines on the bottom and you'll see something like, "My Genie Day". Open that and scroll down. There will be a purple banner that says something about adding Genie+ . There you go. Enjoy!

Thank you!
Of course, it will depend on if you have an Annual Pass or regular tickets as to if you have to add it each day between midnight and 7am or if you can purchase it for the length of your tickets. ...clarification: You can ALWAYS add it day by day if you want to. But those with regular tickets (7-day for example) can add it for their length of tickets.

Anyone else getting issue not being able to buy genie plus being outside of the usa ? What do overseas travellers do ? Do we have to wait until we arrive and then can only buy ?

Select the attraction you want with whatever time is showing, it should automatically change to after 2 if you are hopping

I'm confused, maybe it's too early - Genie+ only allows you 1 ride, everything else would be standby or ILL - you're allowed to use it once for everything available that you can secure.

you are only allowed 2 of the individual, extra cost LL per day. For the Genie+ there is no limit that I know of. You can book another immediately after scanning into one, or 2 hours after booking one, and it’s good if you hop to another park
