Genie + and ride selection by time

Would you like a Genie + option to select a time first and then see what's available?

As I understand it, when you purchase Genie + and begin to use it, you search for the ride that you want and then are given a specific time. I would love an option to select a time and then see what rides are available, the reverse of what has been described. This would be helpful for selecting an experience just before or after an ADR or a show. Is this an option now or would you want this option in the future?

Genie+ returns times much like the old paper fastpass did, in chronological order. It only distributes the next available time slot for each ride until all times are distributed for the day. First it distributes 10:00am, then 10:05, 10:10, 10:15, ...n...8:45pm, 8:50pm, 8:55pm, etc. until it reaches the end of the day. So, if you wanted to look for a ride for 2:00-3:00, it has to be a ride that is distributing that time slot "right now" (all previous passes have been distributed), any of which it should already display for you to see.

The tip board in the app lists all the return times so you basically have this. Really takes only a few seconds to scroll through if you’re looking for a specific time. No more time that if they had a search function.

You can do that already. I was messing with it all day yesterday.

Maybe I should clarify my question. Say it's 11:00 and I have an ADR for noon. I'm looking for what rides are still available in the next hour so I can pick one that is closest to where I will be eating. I'm not asking about one for later this afternoon but I'd rather not have to look up several rides in the vicinity before I find one I can use now.

Is the tip board in the new app? That might explain it since I won't download the app right now as I need to replace my old phone first. Thanks!

If they had a sort by next available that would do what you want.
But, the times seem to bounce around a lot, so that might be a problem.
