General Star Wars Discussion

I know it's early (and I will keep watching), but

since they already killed Trinity (the only one I care about) they can kill everybody else IMO. Not hooked in the least to anybody I've seen."

Great episode for my above comment.

here's hoping the rest are dead soon so we can move on. Don't care about any of these charachters in the least.

I mostly agree and that seems to be the general consensus.

My ranking:

Andor
Mando 1&2
Ahsoka
Acolyte

Obi wan (id have to rewatch but my previous order had boba fett first because I remembered it more. Or I really didn’t like how leia ran…but I can agree the overall show was better than boba)

Boba fett
Mando 3

1. Mando season 1
2. Andor
3. Mando season 2
4. Ahsoka
5. Mando season 3
6. Obi Wan
7. Acolyte
8. Book of Boba Fett

My ranking:

1. Obi Wan Kenobi
2. Ahsoka
3. Andor
4. Mandalorian S1
5. Mandalorian S2
6. Book of Boba Fett
7. Madalorian S3
8. The Acolyte

And I would say that I liked them all for the most part, with The Acolyte still teetering. Otherwise, no major complaints on the rest of them.

Your #1 is blasphemy, just saying.
The canon breaking alone drops this one way down the list. Not to mention the bad script, bad acting, bad flight scenes, and suspect plot.

Well, I loved it. It had Ewan and Hayden, not to mention young Leia, who was great. I found it interesting, and liked seeing the inquisitors in it. I don't know what was bad about the fight scenes and that was par for the course for Star Wars - a bit uneven at times, but it was fine - actually, it was probably better than most with Ewan leading the charge.

Live Action Only

Andor
Ahsoka
Mandalorian/Boba Fett (not splitting up)
Obi Wan-Acolyte tie... need to rewatch Acolyte for perspective as I rewatched Obi Wan and I had a better appreciation after the second viewing

I would have to factor in Rebels and Bad Batch if I was doing all Disney+ Star Wars

I also enjoyed it as well I hate putting it lower on my list as that does not reflect my enjoyment. I enjoyed it much better the second time around.

Well, honestly, I have loved them all except for maybe The Acolyte (and even then it's not outright hatred). I mean, I would say the same thing for the movies - it's one thing to say that AOTC is my "least favorite" Star Wars movie, but I still like it better than most other non-Star Wars movies! Which is to say, I absolutely love AOTC, it's just the weakest of the SW films.

At least AOTC was real Star Wars, and not this mess we have gotten in recent years from Disney.

it is like Ice cream lol... some are better than others, but they are all generally tasty. And I was torn on ANdor and AHsoka... I really liked the grit of ANdor, but it has a sad element... whereas Mandalorian is a different mood..... just like sometimes I am REALLY in the mood for chocolate... and other times vanilla with fresh crushed strawberries is just right

I hew more toward Jedi doing Jedi stuf, so I like Obi-Wan and Ahsoka the most. Andor is probably the "best" in the sense that it is the most technically well-crafted, but that doesn't make it my favorite.

I really like Ahsoka as it is the live action continuation of Rebels/CLone Wars... and Rebels is still my #1 'show'... not going to bring movies into this as that is too much ranking. But I agree... I love all the boxes ticked... Jedi.... sassy droids... exotic aliens... fun space ships and big creatures. Perhaps that is what I was missing in Acolyte.... Pip was not the sassy droid I was looking for....
