Can you use the 35% off pin for room-only and add tickets WITHOUT losing the 35% off? I just need room and tickets, no dining. When I price this out on WDW, I get $892 for my room only quote. When I click to add tickets, it raises the price to $1764.56. So it seems like I CAN add tickets without losing my discount. Is this correct?

I am debating the $500 GC vs the 35% off. I am staying 7 nights at POR and getting 6 day park hopper tickets. My 2 quotes are $1764.56 with room and tickets (35% off) and $2244.84 with $500 GC on arrival. It looks like a wash to me. I think I would rather have the rack rate lower and spend my $500 on whatever I want.

Can someone verify the 35% off question for me?

Indeed you can add tickets (and dining) to the current room only discount. I am helping a friend plan her vacation in March. Because the dining plan works best for their trip I did not want to lose the package. When I called to ask if they could buy tickets and add the DDP to the room only discount I was told No Problem! I was surprised but very pleased!

You can, indeed, add tickets and even the dining plan with the current room only promo out right now. I saved an additional $168.00 by booking with the room only offer (I added tickets and the dining plan) instead of booking with the gift card promo. I want that immediate discount too!
