I'm sifting through this very long thread now, but so far I don't see anyone reporting discounts at the deluxe resorts. Looking specifically at BWI, AKL, YC or GF. Any luck?
I'm off to work, I'll try to call again from there. Good luck to all those like me that are still looking for discounts!

when they checked to apply discount, the price would have been 2675! cm said he would call gs and find out why. they said it was due to the nightly rate change? i thought that was for next year. i kept what i have, but now am worried i will have to pay more.

Hm, if I were you I would verify that someone did not mistakenly book you for those dates but in 2008. EEK!

no, i have the confirmation. it looks like i got the value rate for the entire time, but if they apply the code, it charges me different rates for the different days. does this make sense? i could be wrong, but original current ressie is for 07

So, from what I am gathering from this thread, if I am already booked in a Beach Club Villa, I am probably not going to get a discount on my trip unless I switch to a different resort or room? It seems that everyone who is saving had to switch out of what they are booked into.

Called this morning, computers were down. Called back and tried to apply code to our current ressie at AKL. No availability for any room type, called at 2:20pm EST. There was availability at some of the values and mods but CRO said no more available at deluxes. We were not willing to change from our beloved AKL. Oh well, was hoping it would work, but I am not going to get upset about it. Can't wait for our first MNSSHP !!

Held for 40 minutes and found out that the ZQH code came to the same price as the PIN code I had.

When we priced it out it was the exact same price! go figure!

We are going oct 5-14 and there is nothing available at all either. They did find the FW cabins availabl for a whole lot more $$, thanks but no thanks I will stick with POP.

I originally had one room booked at the Beach Club for 11/25 - 12/2 2 adults, 2 sixteen year olds. We had hoped for the whole kit and kaboodle, package deal including passes and dining plan...at the beginning of the week my hopes had faded because nothing seemed to be available at the Beach Club so I had told my Magical Journey's agent that I would take the Beach club but wanted the package deal so I would have to pay rack rate to be able to get everything...the total price was $4633

Today, after working her magic, she was able to get us the package deal for part of the stay, so we will have the package for 4 nights, passes and dining plan and then the AAA room rate for the remaining three nights and we will basically pay for our meals out of pocket for two days, we are leaving early Sunday morning to come home so I won't count that day.

Our total now is $3790.00

Hopefully at some point maybe she can get the other three nights, but I am not going to complain and am happy with what I have now.

YIPPEE!! My TA just emailed me... she got us the discount and an upgrade from Standard View at WL to Courtyard View. We are saving $242!!

Finally got through!

Original price for CBR from 12/8-12/15 was $2321.08 with 7 Magic Your Way Package.

New price is $1,958.83, savings of $362.25. I'll take it!
