Thanks - it's a case of have Photoshop, will muck about for hours when you should be doing something more constructive... Looking forward to seeing a pic of your magnets...

...I am in full pre holiday cleaning mode! Today I have done some more & hoovered & dusted the whole of upstairs. Just the lounge to do now but will leave that until Friday as it will get dusty again the way the dogs have been running around lately.

I really want to start packing but hubby says I have to wait until Saturday.

Claire, please, please, please come round to mine and force me into pre-hols cleaning mode!!! I'm feeling so lazy this afternoon...

If anyone is interested DLRP are doing a offer where your meals are free if you book 2 night stay or more. You get lunch and dinner free in selected restaurants depending on what hotel you book. Vouchers can also be used at face value.

That sounds a good deal, I am looking at going to DLRP however was worried about spending money.

I have been to lunch today with my sister, (her birthday today) her bf, my mum and DD, tomorrow DD is at school and on thursday going out with my Sister shopping.

Also going to my sisters uni house in reading next month for a few days, going to crash on the floor and live like a "real student"

I have done all the ironing (well with the exception of two pairs of jeans that are still wet) & made dinner, I am now sat on the sofa with my feet up for the rest of the

I have been like that today and I still have 40 days to go I actually have a suitcase in the spare room that I have started to fill

BTW ladies - Tesco have their suntan lotion going cheap. I use Piz Buin and it is all down to £3 and £4 . The Ambre Solaire and Nivea is all down as well

Morning all. Had a lovely birthday meal at TGI's yesterday had a brilliant server. I'm on the TGI mailing list so got vouchers for either free bottle of champagne, free desserts or free cocktails for the group. Handed over the free dessert one but we were full so switched it to free cocktail (includes beer & soft drinks). The server bought out a piece of cake to sing Happy Birthday. The piece he bought out was the normal dessert size of chocolate fudge cake. So we got free dessert & free drinks

Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow

It's horrible out today

Nothing exciting planned for me today. I went into Nuneaton early to have a wander round. I've not seen anything for the Girly Weekend, so I bought some sparkly earrings from New Look. I think the highlight of my day will be reading Breaking Dawn - sad eh ??

Morning! A dull drizzling day here. I know this as I've just been outside with the site survey guy from the gas board. We need to get the gas meter moved (it's currently inside the soon-to-be-demolished garage) and, for ease, we've decided to have it outside. Apparently the earliest I can expect this to happen is in 8 weeks!!! EIGHT WEEKS!!!!! So not 100% sure what the builders are going to think of that but there you go...

Today's Samuel's final lie-in of the hols and I'm leaving him to enjoy it... After 2 months at home, I'm going to miss that boy but I'm glad life is about to get back to normal...

The calender said the 2nd, which I was told by my aunt as my cousin goes to the same school. I guess they changed the date and some people checked the calender rather than the last newsletters sent out. oh well, a practice run for tomorrow.
