Anybody doing anything exciting today?

I am off for my monthly manicure and pedicure and might just treat myself to something nice for lunch afterwards. Well its hard work being pampered for a morning.

I was having Disney dreams last night so must start planning our next visit to the world.

Just spent the last half an hour trying to decide where I am going to put my Christmas tree this year. So far I have narrowed it down to two places.

I spent all day yesterday cleaning this house and washing and ironing, why does the house get sooooo trashed at the weekends
So, no housework for me today, I have some paperwork to do this morning and post office, gym this afternoon and cook a nice family meal as we are all in for dinner tonight

DH is having the first of two Swine Flu vaccinations today

I had a really lovely day with Becky today. We took the train to Birmingham, and I finished off buying her Christmas presents. She had this Stitch from the Disney Store (see she takes after her mum )

she also got - A check shirt, t-shirt, Space Invader P.J's and some Avril Lavigne perfume

I wasn't really shopping for me, but I did come away with some plastic Crimbo glasses, some tinsel for the tree, a set of 3 Crimbo stud earrings and the Polar Express DVD

To finish off, we had a late lunch at Pizza Express, which was delish

Have had a busy morning at the gym then some grocery shopping.

Was supposed to be going to Dubai for the weekend but DH has had some urgent work stuff come up. Not too bothered though as its a 4 hour boring drive or a very expensive 50 minute flight.

We have decided to go out tonight to our favourite restaurant The Chedi for a meal though. I love this place as it is the nicest setting and has fab food.

Of course I put the lip on and said how much I was looking forward to going and think DH felt a bit guilty as its his work stuff keeping us here, so he said he would buy me some extra special Christmas pressies.. Mmm maybe I should tell him I wasn't bothered anyway

We also observed at our toddler group this morning, was a bit funny though as one little 'un was having a massive temper tantrum about wanting another biscuit. At least we tried.

Well I've been on the phone this morning to cancel our Healthcare plan , as after DH's unfortunate hospital stay in August, the company have decided not to pay out

I have decided to put a complaint in, don't think it'll work, but hey I'd always have wondered if I hadn't bothered


But cheered myself up a little as I've done a wee bit of online xmas shopping
