General chit chat thread.

I am going out tonight for a meal with DBF & DD and which I am soo excited about and already dressed ready to go and we are not going for a few hours yet, (don't go out that much at night).

Booked GF lagoon view instead of the Polynesian Resort as DD wanted to stay there and I feel bad still for having to cancel her holiday for this year.

Still really nervous about starting my course in a couple of weeks, I'm not nervous about uni just about the work placement and getting all the stuff done there to pass.

i am !!! no idea why, i feel like crying tbh and thats not like me, i think im just overwhelmed what with ofsted, the end of the school holidays and getting the kids ready to go back to school :guilty:

still one more day till the weekend, thats reason to be cheerful :cool1:

:hug::hug: hope your ok

oh dear me !!! im really struggling with being me today, i shouldnt moan because i know that there are loads of people worse off than me but im sick and tired of being the only person in this house thats capable of doing anything  everything has to be run by me as dh seems to have made himself incapable of
making a bloomin decision so even the simplest of tasks fall to me. all i hear is
Muuuuum !

I need to put my foot down with work as well, ive had extra kids this week because i dont like letting people down and thats added to the stress

at least its the bank holiday weekend so ive got that to look forward too :cool1:

Blimey Nat, sounds like you've been overloaded and others around aren't helping:headache: I find it hard to say no to people and it's a trait that does me little favours too as some people seem to take adventage of it more and more.

I hope you can find some time to chill tonight, get through tomorrow and enjoy the nice long weekend:thumbsup2

Totally sympathise, I've been in a similar groove all day.
I've washed dried and ironed about four loads of washing as well as towels and all the bedding. I've packed, put every electrical item we are taking on to charge and dusted, hoovered, cleaned the bathroom and toilets, cooked dinner, bathed the girls and I'm sure Richard gave me the "what have you been doing all day look" when he came in :headache::headache:......even when he is standing right next to them doing nothing they turn to me for whatever it is they want, I suppose I should be flattered but I'm just shattered!

I'm now off to cook some chicken breast and sausages and make some salads for tomorrows car journey. Wish now that I'd bought pre-packed rather than be so fussy about what they eat (dont like pre-cooked meat :snooty::rotfl2:).......then no doubt I will go out to get the petrol etc etc - when Richard will get his medication ready:rolleyes:

Happy days!

 Oh hun, this really doesn't sound like you today. I hope you're OK soon. Shame I'm coming in the morning and you've got the kids, or we could've cracked open a bottle of wine and had a whinge together ;)

It does sound like everything has just caught up with you, at least you've got a couple of fun weekends coming up and you can breathe a sigh of relief when the kids are back at school :)

Sorry I've been busy trying to download photos, type up my trippy, and take Becky to a party, or I would've been on here earlier and noticed your post

See you tomorrow

Mandy Tea and sympathy ( and a good natter about disney) should do the trick xx

You sound stressed out too hun. I am sure your trip to Centre Parcs will help you relax.

I know exactly what you mean with the "what have you been doing all day look" - I don't have kids & still manage to fill my days at home so hats off to all you mums. :worship:

Have a fab holiday.
