Boo to the evil ME envelope....I always feel like someone has kicked me in the stomach when I see it hanging on the door...

However, you guys always seem to have a new trip in the works!The Dairy Queen celebration moved to Baskin Robins tonight since it's closer to both DBFF's and my jobs (so don't worry Lana, there was no chocolate-dipped cone ) and I still sat there jealous about how your trip is so close!

I'm definitely like Brooklyn in the morning...she certainly doesn't look thrilled to be in that stroller! "Wowsie" looks like a fun game!

Hope you guys have fun this week! Ask Wig'd if I can borrow one of her new "suitcases" for my trip in September! I definitely have shopping as a priority!

I am glad you have the attitude you do about your grandmother. I know she delighted in having her family around her.

The cake is simple. Poke fairly good-sized holes in a yellow cake, then pour the Coco over it, and then the Eagle Brand. Top with Cool Whip and coconut. Let it sit for a day and soak in good before you serve it. It is good stuff!

I will be thinking of Anita and the guys as they have the long drive ahead of them today. I think we'll be eating at Red Robin, since that's Brooklynn's go-to eatery.

I love how you turn your leaving-day frown upside-down by thinking of your deaprture as making room for the next family to enjoy their turn to bask in the magic. Your positive attitude is always an inspiration.

Thank you for the Pop pics. It just never gets old. Ahhh. That's "my" lobby, "my" food court. Not my breakfast, though. I might just indulge in a final tie-dye cheesecake on the last day!

Hey MeMom! Last day already? Well at least it's just a few weeks until you walk in the lobby of POP and feel like your at home.
I know y'all will have a wonderful time and make great memories. I am trying my best to figure out a way to get to the World a few days in October for my birthday. We will see. We are going to Gulf Shores for a quick trip this weekend and if I happen to be behind the wheel and everyone else is sleeping I might just point that car towards Orlando! LOL

Anyway, have a great time and make sure you toss a coin in that special water at Wilderness Lodge. Ty needs a cousin ASAP. LOL

It's been fun so far. I enjoyed seeing Brooklynn in the pool yesterday. It's fun to watch her grow up and participate in all of her activities. We had our 'sleepover' in the living room as we watched a Tinkerbell movie. She's still asleep. Bella is putting Barbie doll things in a purse, stopping occasionally to grab a bite of a Strawberry Pop-tart, and softly sing 'Pokey Poley'. The only body part that makes it into the song is right hand.

Put you right hand in, shake it all about. Do the Pokey Pokey, that's all about...

Repeat 27 times.

That's her version, anyway.

We had a good meal. Too much food at one time, though, so I have about 2/3 of a burger waiting for me in the fridge for lunch. We enjoyed the company, as always. I know they were ready to be out of that car. Baylor said he had a small space in the car, and one of the packages kept falling over and smacking him in the head.

I love Pop pictures, too. There are a couple of Pop threads over on the Resorts Board that I check regularly. We have a special feeling for that place.

Oh no, the dreaded last day! I always book a late flight out, but then I'm too bummed to really appreciate anything. I'm still crossing my fingers we'll be moving back to Florida next June, because then I'll know that there are lots of trips right around the corner.

Glad to hear you had fun with your girls! I'm sure Brooklyn loved having her MeMom cheering her on from the sidelines of swim lessons!

I'm sorry to see that this TR is coming to a close, but I'm super excited that your next trip is right around the corner! Yay for another TR!

I have some cute little surprises for the girls on NYE. I'm excited to see them again! My sister is too - she thought Brooklyn was so cute that NYE a few years ago.

I am scheming a 2012 trip with Caroline; I'll see them next week so I was going to ask my brother & SIL if they'd be opposed to it. I figured we'd go in October; hopefully smaller fall crowds & also MVMCP - I think she'd really get a kick out of that.

I have to ask for advice from the mommas here. Trying to potty train my 3 yr old son before school in the fall and our WDW trip in august. #1 is fine- no problem with that. Its number 2 that is proving a problem. I have even bribed him with a trip to see "buzz rocket,castle and minnie mouse (he calls Mickey - minnie). And he is excited for that but still wont do it. Any advice?

The last day of the trip is always so sad! But look, you finished this trip report before the next trip so that's good! You know how much I love your trip reports and family! Oh and I have to mention again, that I can probably whip up some white chef hats for you if you need them!

I have "potty trained" 4 kids. I wait until they are over three years old and show them the basics and do little stickers or some kind of little treat and lots of praise and encouragement. And then say to them, when you are ready, go for it! I personally think the more you make of it the more stage fright they have. My youngest wanted to wear big girl undies when she was 2.5 and I told her she had to wait till she was 3. The day of her 3rd birthday, she insisted on wearing undies and off she went to school in them. The pooping on the potty takes a little more time. I just tried to catch their signals and suggest they try the potty when they feel like they have to go. Eventually they get it but of all the things I get involved in with my kids, that was one battle I wasn't going to get involved in. Please keep in mind, there are lots of different kinds of kids and parenting styles and ideas and opinions. This is just worked for me. Best of luck to you!! ~Cathy
