I see Miss Daisy.

Jill took Kay's picture with Daisy to send back to her granddaughter. I don't know if she took pictures of the girls or what happened, but I have no other pictures of that stop.

After a cold, dreary winter, it is thrilling to see the colorful flowers displays.

Good morning, Miss Minnie!

Hello, kind Cast Member with many buttons on your shirt.

IMG_1692.jpg

There is no evidence that Bella is the kind that runs in front of other kids to get to the characters. :rotfl:

IMG_1694.jpg

I love this area.

IMG_1696.jpg

I love the sounds of the water and the music. There is a rumor that this overhang is going to be taken down. I hope that doesn't happen. It wouldn't be the same without those little shade block patterns on the ground. PLus they just 'soften' the area somewhat, in my opinion.

What a fun bunch of folks to start our day with!

A newly-married couple was invited to be the first guests of the day at Character Spot.

You can only see the guy's hat, but he's back there.

Our turn.
The usual routine.

Brooklynn gets the book signed.

Bella begins her retreat.

Jill gets in the picture in order to have both girls in it.

Brooklynn is so good and so patient in dealing with the Bella and the characters situation. Very often, they will turn their attention almost solely on trying to get Bella to come to them, and Brooklynn never acts jealous. She just stands there waiting for them to come back to her, and then she poses like a champ with never a word. I love that girl!

Bella is checking out Donald.

IMG_1711.jpg

We have a wave!
Maybe she'll go up to him?

IMG_1712.jpg

Or maybe not.

IMG_1715.jpg

Not sure why Bella decided to do this when watching the characters.
Silly girl.

IMG_1716.jpg

And no, she was not 'going potty'. :upsidedow

A game of peek-a-boo is the best we can do.

Characters. Check.

What next?

I loved all the flowers at EPCOT. It is one of my favorite times to visit. The topiaries just add more magic to walking around.

I'm still laughing at the pictures of Bella and the characters.:rotfl: I really hope this trip she finally make the connection. Danielle was 3 the first time we took her to Disney. For the first day she would have nothing to do with characters. On the second day we had breakfast at Chef Mickeys. In all the pictures she is trying to move away. Finally Chip made a connections with her. She shared her sprinkles from her breakfast ice cream. After that she slowly warmed up to the characters and was a pro by the end of the trip. Chip and Dale are still her favorites.

Brooklyn is very patient to wait for her turn for attention. My girls would have been jealous.

Look at all those pretty flowers! That would be a lovely time to visit Epcot for sure. :) I have to giggle at little Bella. I love her crouch down pose. That's adorable!

Love the flowers pictures! Wish they would stay up so we could see them....oh well....I'll just have to talk Ben into a spring break trip sometime...

Bella's reaction to the characters reminds me of how Owen was on the last trip. He wanted nothing to do with them and I would pick him up to try to get in the picture and he would scream to high heaven when I would start walking toward the character. I'm HOPING that he will like them better this time! Crossing fingers!

I love the Flower & Garden Festival!! I think it keeps me going through the long, cold winters. When we planned our November trip, Tim asked if we were still going in April... :rotfl: Silly man... of course we are! I need my spring F&G fix!

LOL love that pic of Bella retreating. Poor baby. Brooklyn is such a good sister.

Thanks moms for the potty training advice. We will keep at it. I keep telling y DH that he wont be a thirty year old in Huggies. :0)

Two weeks!!! Wish it was for us too!

Awwww, F&G is so pretty and I know what you mean about that long cold winter...
I'll be missing those flowers next year.

I wonder if Bella is scootching down in an attempt to hide...
Or maybe so she can spring up and run for her life!!!

Our dreams were a hoot! They were all just perfect!

How wonderful of Brooklynn to be so patient with Bella. I love that she was smitten with Baylor! (look out Jill).

Jill certainly gets a work out at the character spots; Bella looks quite slippery!

Great character pictures!

I love the F&GF pictures. We got to see it in April '08 & it was beautiful! When we were there last February, we saw the very beginning of some of the topiaries.

Bella is so funny with the characters. I LOVE the way she's crouching down, far away, to watch them!

Fantastic Character Spot photos! We went there for the first time in December. I love the backgrounds!

F&G is so pretty. We will be on a cruise next spring break but I am hoping the next year I can talk John into a trip. He claims we are going back to once a year only... We shall see about that!

I survived to the last day of school!:dance3: Now I have two workdays next week. My room is just about cleaned/packed and I have a little bit of paperwork to do. Then all my dreams will be Disney ones!:cloud9:

Those girls are just too precious and adorable to believe! I can't get over how sweet they are!:goodvibes You are such a lucky family!

And what a lovely morning at Epcot! A stop with Daisy and beautiful flowers is always a good way to start a day!:thumbsup2

Poor Bellarie and her character reactions! I'm sure she'll warm up to them eventually. Especially after she checks out how much fun her big sister has with them! It's wonderful to hear about Brooklyn being such a good sister. She sounds so patient and loving! What a good girl she is....I sometimes worry how my neices will be together when they get a bit older but that makes me smile!:) At least she waved to Donald! That's a good place to start!

I'm glad to hear Bella wasn't doing the "potty squat" and was just lookin' cute!:goodvibes

Those flowers are so pretty! I must get down there sometime and check it out. I so desperately want to!

Bella is so adorable! Love those expressions with the characters. And what a great big sister Brooklyn is being so patient with her. Just wait until Bella warms up to them. Boy, she will have so much fun!

It is getting so close!

All caught up again. Another rough week for me but the good news is that it is over. :cool1:

Watching Bella with the characters and finding her own way to get to know them is precious.

Brooklyn is a great big sister and so patient too.

Brooklynn is such a great big sister. I can't believe she would just wait patiently for the characters to give her their attention.

I love the pictures of Bella trying to retreat. It looks like Jill was having a hard time holding her. Kids are so much stronger than they look when they are trying to wiggle away from you.

Those girls are freaking ADORABLE!!!!

When my DD8 was almost 1, we made our first family trip to WDW and she cried every time she saw a character. She was okay with the face characters, but even Mickey freaked her out. I've got some great pictures from Chef Mickey's - those poor characters tried so hard, but she was in tears! She got over it fairly soon after. We went back a couple years later and she was fine.
